Neither. He was there for a month, played three games, came back at the end of his spell. Tamworth were going through a managerial change though so probably quite difficult for him to have gone there and made an impact, but no more difficult than starting for us on Saturday one would assume.

I can’t see any chance of Turner starting on Saturday. It’s just too much to expect him to come in from the cold.

...perhaps we'll have more luck with the West Coast trains - most of those problems/cancellations were on the East side, the worst hit areas so far. Going down Friday morning for the w/end so fingers crossed.

If we're going two up top I wouldn't want both Forrester and Barnett so I'd go for Forrester out of the two. Then between Turner and Wilson, Turner looks the better, more developed and likely to score plkayer so I'd go with him. However I can't see that happening.

 

If the game goes ahead it'll be Popes last game anyway.

Looks like a weekend on the pop in London for me then! Already booked going down tonight and coming back Sunday evening and it's a tenner to get a train ticket refund.

Managed to get a refund on our hotel. bad down here at the moment, cars abandoned, no one able to drive off the main carriages, think its heading north.

You would hope that Vale try to get the game re-arranged for one of the Tuesdays from 10th April onwards, when Pope (and Kay) should hopefully be fit again.

 

Actually the only option before that one is Tues 13th March.

A few teams have rearranged for this date, oddly Notts County's called off today has been re-arranged for this Tuesday!
