It's not legally binding though.

The pact was agreed by all 193 members, except the USA last July, however at the ceremony to adopt the text only 164 countries formally adopted it.

Sorry, but what was the question about sovereignty?

FUA, The question of the UN Compact on Global Migration being legally binding or not is irrelevant. The UN is a globalist organization and it will propagate this Compact as something that needs to be promoted, protected and enabled for whatever reason and keep it on the world agenda. There must be reasons why countries like the USA etc didn't sign it.

My Sovereignty reply to Regal is below.

The UK has always had its own Sovereign powers even when in the EU, it chooses not to use them compare the UK to Hungary, Poland etc.

In the UK there is Parliamentary Sovereignty which means at any time the UK can revoke the Act of Parliament that gives EU Law it's force in the UK, granted the UK would be at odds with the EU if it did so but it has the option.

The argument about Sovereignty is weak, nebulous and a non-issue compared to the effect of Brexit on the UK economy which is already real and ongoing.

Although I agree with most of your post the exception I make is the second last paragraph..... although in theory we could in practice it could bring about the exit from the EU that a lot of people are objecting to.... a crash out.

Sovereignty is an important issue to some people, less so to me because I think many of the laws we make, enforce, misuse and interpret  are flawed..... most of which simply drift by without even a nod.... the principal I tend to adopt is if the law is bad does it make a difference if we made that law.

But again that a whole different subject and probably more contentious in its essence than leaving the EU.

Leaving the EU fantastic for the economy???!!!

This has got to be another one of your "funny guy" posts....

What another factual statement?

No I've just decided that if you lot can just announce that the economy will be bad with no evidence or reason then I will just do the opposite.

More illogical nonsense from you RB.

We have evidence that our economy has boomed in the last 50 years inside the EU, with record GDP growth and inward investment. Fact. 99/100 economists and academics will tell you the same.

You, instead, are claiming, that we ought to ignore the evidence, ignore history and what we know about the economic benefits of being in the EU and take a complete leap in the dark in the hope that, fingers crossed, eyes closed, it might turn out great. Putting all that economic stability and success at risk on the toss of a coin? Well I'm sorry but that's infantile and stupid.

No evidence? No reason? You're being silly again.

We all base our lives on facts, what has happened in the past, what is happening now. We look at the evidence and we listen to the experts. Then we weigh up the probabilities and make a sensible decision.

If your doctor tells you that smoking 100 fags a day will kill you, do you ignore him?

Your argument doesn't hold up. Go back to the drawing board and try something else.

If the doctor had been saying my heart is ok for 50 years then informs me i have a 2cm hole in it...... or...... that doctor was insisting that my spinal and nerve problems were spondulitis 3+ years after an MRI and treatment for fractured L1 & L5..... then yes i would ignore him.

The only thing that convinced him he was wrong was me proving it to him by sitting on the edge of an examination table for 20 minutes while he tried to get a reflex reaction in my knees and feet with his little hammer...... a reply to his enquiry at Walsall NHS, where I had to go for diagnosis and treatment may have helped.

You are fact free. Whenever we present you with evidence you deny it because it doesn't match your opinion.

You don't see anything through your Union Jack glasses. And you can't hear owt, perhaps you need to switch Land of Hope and Glory down. Suppose Carneys comments today was more Project Fear in your eyes.

The smears against immigrants continue I notice as the founder of the Brexit Party tweeted yesterday that, ‘Major operations are sold in Pakistan and performed by the NHS in London. Patients arrive at Heathrow and are collected and taken to Slough General. Everyone is on the take abusing the system.’

But she's got it all wrong. Slough General doesn't exist. Slough isn't in London. And Pakistan isn't in the EU.

Probably just an honest mistake and nothing to do with racism.

Any resignations yet from the Labour Party?

You do that Regal because you haven't got any evidence, rational or anything to back up any word or point you make, even you have realized it judging by the post above.

Well using that as a sweeping generalisation of my posts is not true Paul, you and I both know that I evidence the vast majority of my posts, far more than any remainer has on this site.

But no, unfortunately I don't have evidence of something that has not happened yet. But the difference between me and the remainers is that I'm not claiming to have evidence of something that hasn't happened yet.
