Brexit again...

You are correct. But should we be surprised since Ted Heaths time Tory leaders have been got rid off By the Anti EU right wing. They want total cut off from the EU, they will not be satisfied with any agreement. And as a matter of interest does anyone know where the Labour Party stand.
You are also correct and it's a damn good question about the Labour Party position. Now is the time for clarity and decisiveness from all sides as the government could collapse at any time.

Why don't the leavers go a little bit lower down and once more bury your head in the sand. And possibly wait for all the trade deals to flow in. And the millions for the NHS.

Why don't all you remainers line up along the white cliffs of dover with you trousers down arsesintheair awaiting heinrich hans fritz and bum-ps adaisy leaving the rest of us knowledgable folk in peace.oops there goes another one.

Starmer has a 6 point test for the cake proposals. As far as I remember their policy is not to be worse off outside the Common Market than in, and considering business want to carry on without changes, I don't see any other option than staying as we are. There will of course be a lot of blood letting by the tax haven gang, and the need to explain the situation to the country.

It's easy to see why Brexit is going so swimmingly when you read replies like this; it's clearly because all the Brexiteers are such master debators. They appear to like nothing better than furiously debating at every opportunity over the prospect of leaving the EU and the reasons for doing so.

It seems the tories brexiteers have used this whole thing as a protracted leadership coup. An utter shambles. But not surprising at all.

It’s clear that we either accept a deal where nothing changes except we have no control, or no deal. If I was one of the other parties I’d keep keep clear and let the tories rip themselves apart over it. It’s their mess, and there isn’t a good outcome to get from it.

Sadly not. I have no idea whether Corbyn is simply hedging his bets or if he actually quite likes the idea of leaving in a 1983 Michael Foot manifesto sort of way. Either way he needs to up his game.

You lost that argument when you described yourselves as being knowledgeable folk.

I don’t think he can win. He either supports something that won’t be a success, or says he doesn’t want brexit and get labelled as anti democratic as well as terrorist, Muslim ira sympathising Czech spy.

If someone asked me now what we should be negotiating for, I’d have no idea what to say because the only options are bad or Pie in the sky.

BJ and DD have obviously come to the conclusion that TM's Brexit deal is not what they or majority of voters wanted.

Good on them for realising that she is not up to the job.

Get Jacob in,at least he's on the side of the Brexiteers.

JRM - man of the people.

Are you serious. Don't forget 48% voted to remain. If Rees Mogg is pick of the bunch, then god help us.

JRM - man of the people.

Spot on.

He's certainly no appeaser and at least he realises what a real Brexit is.Saying that, this is not about MP's but more about the 17.4 million people getting what they voted for.

Ignore them at your peril.
