No deep down I don’t agree at all. I’m not another sheep that the regular posters/moaner on here can brainwash into agreeing with their every ramble. I’m non compliant not argumentative. Just because Hagrids made up tat he reckons he’s heard from the horses mouth which once again will turn out to be total muck doesn’t mean I have to take it as gospel. I’ve always said smurf needs to go for the harmony of the club but I don’t agree that every tiny detail of everything that has happened over the entire ownership is all negative and solely down to him when it’s gone wrong. When things went well it’s all Adams and nothing to do with smurf, when things go wrong it’s down to smurf....can’t have it both ways but most of you want to.

Deep down you don't agree, you just agree that he needs to go. You agree, but a different kind of agreeing, for different reasons, because you're not a sheep, and you don't conform to the moaners of OVF.

 

I think that post has flushed out the issues you have. Your mind is closed to the horror scenario, that you actually agree with the ovf "moaners". Being seen as a sheep is a big deal for you, to the point that you'll find any way possible to put across a contrary view.

 

You may find this a bit of a crazy idea Matt, but a lot of people who criticise Smurf have actually praised him in the past. His appointment of Aspin and Rudge being the most recent for me. Despite your feelings about people like myself, my issue with Smurf isn't a personal one. If he comes out with a statement tomorrow that I agree with, I'll say so. If he backs it up with positive actions, I'll give him credit for doing so. Always have. Unfortunately those occassions have been few and far between, so I criticise him for it. Not blindly based on a hatred of all things Smurf, but out of concern for the clear impact his actions have on the club I love.

 

I'm not the only one either. Many many people on here put across sensible well worded criticisms, not the "rambling" you repeatedly call them. The irony is, it's you that blindly argues with everyone on here, out of a closed, non conformist, desire to look a particular way.

Colin Garlick ************ who renewed his contract after taking us down.(Probably because he was cheap and still had a playing contract and used Bruno as a scapegoat for his mistakes)

Don't bring up the old chestnut that Brown didn't have a budget.

He signed 35 players for Gods sake.

It was all to do with Adams. When Smurf took over we were already on our way to promotion. Unfortunately the longer he has been at our club the more his influence has eaten away at the foundations of the club and put us in free fall.

I know when Adams was still at the club and Smurthwaite/Wildes appointed Adams was quick to criticise the new regime, even calling Bill Bratt preferable to Smurf. Doesn't that say it all?

Mate half the reason that owners like Smurf keep appointing toss managers is because they know at the Vale there's always the gullible souls there willing to back anything related to PvFC with total loyalty same with v2001. All the hype of fan protests and everything else disappears very quickly. This isn't a Smurf situation this is a club issue. Hence the debacles with Gannon, Glover, Foyle, Sinnott prior to Smurf getting involved. He's seen fans are clowns and will back anything so he can get away with it.

 

If Smurf thought he was going to seriously get hit in the pocket by fans he would have appointed a decent manager however the gullible few will accept and back a monkey in a tracksuit on the sidelines and Smurf knows he will get away with it so does it. Even now 21st in league there's still ********* arguing he deserves more time. It's this reason and this reason alone that smurf thinks he can get away with putting easily manipulated plebs in charge of the team.
