That's probably not the only reason.... we're **** at the bottom of league 2 we aren't exactly the most appealing club to join.

Of players not good enough plus we didn't get a left back. I won't analyse it now but there's loads wrong as we all know but the biggest problem by far is the lump of lard in possession of the deeds to the club. No manager will succeed under him.

Thank god that game is over.

 

Hope Aspin and the staff sort this lot out, but who could they bring in. A team with a bad run and Vale made them look promotion favourites.

 

Do I want to listen to Vale on tuesday and listen to the Vale Defence implode again.

Fair enough. I honestly don't think you're going to get quality players at a fair price in January. Aspo must be disgusted about how our 'defence' keeps on making these schoolboy errors, given how consistent and solid he was as a player

....that didn't cost the club very much at all, according to Aspin last week.

 

And that's the crux of it IMO - this owner simply will not sanction paying out the wages that are required to bring in quality players or a Football League-experienced manager (that's not a dig at Aspin, more a remark on the 4 managers that this owner has appointed).

 

He will only allow cheap signings. Over 5 years since taking over and he is still utterly clueless and has no idea about what makes a successful football club/team.

I would think it is more Smurfs reputation still holding our managers from getting the better players. His reputation and trying to get good players on peanut wages.
