Surely we should have kept Willow on a pay as you play deal if that would have been possible.....that's my thought anyway, top player when fit...and better than most at our level when not fully fit !! Think it's a mistake letting him go to be honest.

Uche 6,751 minutes (works out at 75 x 90min games). Around 1 goal every 6 games.

I don't think anyone at the club looks at things like this. It's very worrying.

Players are either ready or not. Walters, Dipepa and Plant are ready in my view. I'm hoping we keep Dipepi and he sticks in 20-30 goals next season.

He’s never fit. Dosent score and when plays is recovering from an injury. Sorry his record isn’t remotely good enough. Pay as you play is barely a think anymore. Move on, he’s barely scored a goal in league 1, he’s better than the numpties we have up front but that Dosent mean he should have been kept.

Yes, but we are asking Shorrock to play in L2 and not La Liga. Being ready at the different standards is equally feasible.

interesting to see the retained list but my worry is the long term contracts of loft, who is awful and likewise the awful jones who we just can’t get rid of and our finances meet we can’t buy any players and if we get relegated again and with the five year contract for Moore who has in my opinion had absolutely no impact on these players and if we don’t stay in division two we could be in real trouble

I wonder how many on the retained list can play 30 games plus? There lays the problem! If you are going to get promoted you need a good core of players on thirty games plus.

There's no such thing in professional football as a pay as you play deal. No player would sign one and no agent would negotiate one. If a player gets a long term injury how is he supposed to pay the bills and feed his family.
