We are going to have to do it the hard way. Some big surprises there but the teams at the bottom now want it more than the teams in mid table who are safe but can't do much more. Annoyed with Barnsley.

Barnsley are hopeless at the moment. Hammered today, couldn’t score against Cheltenham at home recently. Struggling, still wasn’t expecting Cambridge to take all 3

Just a pity that Cambridge, Shrewsbury, Cheltenham,  Reading & Burton all picked up useful points this afternoon!
Which just makes this win so much more important to keep pace. Must admit though some of those results were a bit strange today. But should give us encouragement to go to these places and have a go.
On another point. Flitcroft goes and all of a sudden team performances improve out of sight. Any link I don't know. Makes you think though

Just looking at their stats. Had 645 passes, 17 shots, only 3 on target and lost 2-0. Summit up at mill.

Great things happen when bad eggs leave the club!
We have looked a club transformed since Mr. Narcissist left the club.

That performance today was, like last week, outstanding.
Players were superb. Manager and coaching staff got it spot on.

A special mention to Dipepa, who I’ve said on many occasions that he should be plying his trade in non league, but the lad looked a proper talent. It all has to be down to Flitcroft. It’s way too much of a coincidence that we look a really good team since his departure.
Dipepas goal reminded me a bit of Owens v Argentina. All be it he did handle the ball at the start of the run but we will take it all day long.

Loft. Where has that lad been all season?!! Superb performance.

Debrah. Smith. Yak. Nothing was getting past them. Absolute beasts at the back. What’s happened there!!!

Chizzy. Ran himself into the ground.

Garrity and Ojo. Ran the show.

Sang and Plant. Superb performances.

The fans. Great energy.

Just superb all around. And it’s amazing how a director of football leaving the club can bring everyone together and show that kind of performance again.

We still have a massive job on our hands but momentum is massive at this stage of the season.

3 away games coming up. After those 3 games, if we are still within touching distance of staying up I honestly believe we will.

What a turnaround in the last 10 days.

The hope is real.

Got a good manager and coaching staff. It's still a tough ask but we look well organised now.

Deserved win for Vale, the players are defo up for the fight to stay in Lge 1.

Liked the pressing for the first ca 75 mins and generally not giving their players time on the ball.

Bummer that most of the teams around us have picked up points.

Can still stave off relegation but it's gonna be close.

Great goal by DiPepa.

Get in there Vale.  Well done players and staff for getting todays results.

Shame the other results was not in our favour.  The great escape dream is still there.

Awesome result and what a total change of how the team played and shows they want it.

Does make you think fraudcroft was the issue and even the players wanted him out.

Totally agree 👍

Yates said it in his after match chat.  There was no more stupid side passes back to Ripers or each other.  It was back to basics - get it up and out of the box.  This has only happened since fraudcroft left.

Another good game from Smith. He should always be played in the center.

Trying to get him to play football as we've done this season has been absolutely criminal and totally baffling. If he sticks to the basics and doesn't what he's good at, which is kicking and heading it away, he's not a problem at all.
