The mercurial Ben Garrity was again outstanding. He has duracell batteries fitted in his chest. He is everywhere. He coolly slots home goals like a seasoned Harry Kane. Admittedly I am biased as I always feel He is the gel that holds Vale together. Our future has to be built round him and young B D up front. Please Ben get over the injury and continue to orchestrate our miracle escape. Absolutely enjoyed today. Smiling faces leaving the ground, ovations to the players and management- why oh why have we left it this late to show the grit, determination, guile and purpose to ensure our stay in Division 1?  Enjoy tonight fellow Valiants, sleep well. Refresh yourselves ready to support the last games and gee ourselves up to be the 12th man to back the lads to the hilt. We can do this, we really can.

I've been one of his biggest critics here, and while I believe a lot of what I said has been justified, I have to say that Loft suddenly looks like a new signing. He could and should have scored again today but his running and physical tools really help the players around him when we're not playing that daft passing for the sake of passing rubbish. Hopefully with the return of ikpeazu they can really push each other and help to bring out the best from the likes of Garrity, Chislett and Dipepa.

Yep. I don't think we'd have won this a month ago. 

Amazing what clearing your lines and getting balls into the box can do. Sang is maligned on here imo but he gets some great balls in.

For me, like I’ve said, Moore had walked into an absolute shambles. With very poor players. Or so it seemed. 
His record was awful. His subs were baffling. His set up was delusional at times. But I backed him because of the “awful” players at his disposal.

Hindsight. Wonderful thing. 
But blatantly obvious that Darren wasn’t having 100% control in what he wanted to do.

His interview when he walked through the door mentioned “Dave” a dozen times or more. It was excruciating. That was the power that Flitcroft had and how brainwashed Carol was.

Now we are seeing those “awful” players flourish. A new lease of life.

IF we stay up this should be a massive wake up to Carol that we never go through this again.

Loads of hope now and optimism for the end of season push to safety.
