Carol take a look at Posh players.  This is proper recruitment and a club that is championship ready. Yes they have paid high wages, but you get what you pay for. 

We are not even 1st div or 2nd div ready with this bunch of players.

I will state the same for all the young lads. We, Carol and co , co much wanted to see them in our first team this season. Flitcroft and co said yes we will do it.

They didn't play a 40 pass move to score. It wasn't deserved. He pulled one of them down by his shirt totally unnecessarily. It was a completely needless penalty to give away and goal to create.  A week after he set up Nton's first goal with a stupid no look pass. It's not scapegoating, it's acknowledging reality.

 

I said it was a soft penalty but there are 11 out there who haven't performed but lofty is coming in for most the stick - is he crap, probably, but we have got other crappers out there - and I'm still sulking cuz I haven't had my mini eggs 💖💖

Realise it's  easy in hindsight, but I have to say that initial set-up with our defensive record, always looked what it was....... a high risk strategy!  GD could sink us in the end.

The others didn’t give away that penalty though. Plenty of them have got stick as well.

I hate to be that person, but Posh lost, pre-tax, nearly £8m in the 22-23 financial year, subsidised by their owner. They are on a different financial stratosphere to us. We struggle to lose £1m a year.
