Trials going ahead to introduce sin bin cards have been deemed a success and could be making their way into senior football. Refs would have the power to send players off for 10 mins for dissent and cynical fouls. Blue x 2 = red, blue + yellow = red too. Very confusing and unnecessary. Sky news = source.

Clough fined players for picking up a booking for ill discipline. Just show them the yellow and bring the rule back where the ball was brought forward ten yards. It cost England a place in the Rugby Cup Final because Farrell couldn’t keep his mouth shut. The ball was moved forward 20 yards and SA kicked a goal. I'd rather they concentrate more on mic'ing up the officials if we're going to start copying rugby. The VAR referee too for games where it's being used.

What a load of garbage. The refs are incompetent enough as it is without this nonsense. So now if they wrongly give out a card, what would’ve used to be a yellow now means you’re off for ten mins.  Football isn’t the same as rugby.

Also maybe dissent wouldn’t be such an issue if refs actually booked players for doing it like they’re supposed to, it’s their own fault for not clamping down.

By Blue. Surely Orange would make more sense. As said, some better training for clowns like Hicks would be a much better use of resources- actually investing in getting league refs up to league standard.

Not for me. Refs make enough mistakes as it is without this being added to the game. How is dissent going to be judged, will some refs 2 var view it differently to others?
