Really enjoyed the game and performance today. Feared the worst knowing Garrity was out. Pleased for Uche, loved his effort and heart today. How on earth we didn't win I do not know, even accounting for the kamikazee defending at times. Devine, Massey, Wilson, Uche and Chislett were immense today. Need a shed load of new players and an extension to the treatment room. Over to you's Carol and DF. Happy with the performance.

Dobson looked quality in the middle. A couple of pacy lads and Hector who has wasted a promising career by looking disinterested. 

By all accounts they've had a bit accepted for the Peterborough guy. But their defence is hideous. 

Charlton are a poor outfit with one of the worst defensive records in the division. Albeit we've conceded more.

"The owners listen"...and then what? Pay off the existing gaffer and backroom staff?  Appoint someone else who wants new players, and pay off the ones he wants rid of,  but what if that doesn't work out? The cycle presumably starts again - and how much has this cost so far? 

There are no guarantees in football and for as long as we are reasonably comfortable it's absolutely understandable that they stick with their man.

Oddly other than Barnsley we've not really been trounced yet only Reading and Fleetwood have conceded more goals than us .

Needs addressing .

Thought Massey was really good today aside from the goal. Was a bit of scrap about him too.

That’s the point though. An improvement on absolutely <ovf censored> still isn’t very good.

 

Massey isn't and has never been our biggest issue. He's been played in a number of positions by Crosby which isn't easy for any player. I expected a bit more from him when we signed him but his pace is useful in a generally crab paced side.

This side can't play the ball out of the back style football AC and Co keep trying to play.  They do not have the skill/ability.

Tuning in the TV at the normal time for the itv highlights show and it's not on. Anyone got any ideas when its on now?

Hideous defending apart, if we'd have turned in that performance with a new manager in charge,  I reckon that a lot of people would be enthused by the effort and spirt of not chucking in the towel in, after going behind three times and lauding the impact of a new manager.

I want him to get time. Shouldn't I be listened to? Or is it just the moaners who get a voice?
