I think our attack is OK. Our defence needs attention.

Disappointing attendance, I get that folks are upset with the performances and style of play but at the end of the day Vale are our team and the players need all the support we can give. Apathy has maybe set in with a few but you can't beat being there. Weirdly entertaining game today. Thought we showed nothing for the first 35 mins, played really well for most of the 2nd half despite our attempts at shooting ourselves in the foot with comic cuts defending. Shows we really need some additions this month. Our kids are not up to league 1 level at the moment. Need a solid centre half, tough tackling midfielder and someone with pace up front.

If people are staying away because of our 'performances' that's their issue and their loss.
If it's because peeps can't afford it before, or after Christmas, then that's an entirely different scenario. We are in Burslem, not Monaco.

Just seen Crosbys post match interview. Think that’s the most pissed off he’s been since he’s been manager. I quite like it to be honest that he’s not happy with the defending. I’d just ask him don’t over-compensate by scaling back on the attacking mentality we showed today.

I’m glad he is. Yet I expect we’ll still see Smith at RCB next game.

I did think that given their home attendances are nearly triple ours. I’m pretty sure we did / would have taken more to them.
