Good point, decent game against a good opposition. Hope this lad from Halifax and play RWB as Sang can play there, Massey should be filling in there. Massey shouldn’t be up top, who’d have thought that three strikes isn’t enough. 
 

Still happy with a point there, they’re a decent side with some good attacking players. Ripley is best keeper in the league

The Yak not tight enough for their goal. Massey’s chance was not easy at all. I’m more concerned about our defensive switch offs than lack of goals especially with Loft and Thomas to come back.

A mess of a goal then Masseys given easy chance put  us back in front and somehow I have no idea how misses well the goalies saved and tgen its come back out to chizzy who's efforts deflected wide 

Was a penalty good job it was horrific .

Still feel we are a bit too nice when opposition  have the ball .

It's Cambridge though and it's not a happy hunting ground .

Man of the Match Ojo passed it calmly and cooly on a day where the Vale didn't really shine for long enough to win and almost lost to very average team .

 

 

 

 

They're not a very average team at home though. They also brought on three players that start most games for them, and it showed. Whereas because of injuries our subs were sub-standard, no pun intended. Looking at their record and goals conceded it was never going to be anything else other than an extremely tight game. 1-1 is perfectly acceptable, and especially as they could have scored a penalty which would no doubt have won them the game.

Take a point all day even day. Credit to them, they fought hard and we're no pushover. 

On Smudger, fine margins, just miss-tiked the tackle and their player made the most if it. 

Rippley! What a save; just don't understand why he's not dominating the box more (which he's great at)

Anyway. Onwards and upwards. Still think we'll finish 8th-10th(ish)

Another thing Sangs put a lovely ball in again and no ones there .

Sang played a beautiful ball between the lines for Arblasters deflected effort near the end .

On the whole happy with a point but gotta have a good hard look at these goals going in against us as its basic defending to make sure you not do not leave a player with a free header to any side of our box .

Also Cass should have buried that  cross shot after good work by Sang and Arblaster down the right  at 1-0 that was also a decisive moment .

In the end we were lucky get a point and yet should have scored at least 4

Look forward to hopefully having a fully fit squad to choose from at some point. The above looks exciting to me.

Reading some of the posts on here it's clear we have not learnt any lessons from Barnsley !! 

I think Crosby has another month to get it right and I hope people don't think that getting to the quarter final of the league cup  is going to make any difference!! 🙃🤪😜😃😄🙃😎🥳
