What is there to damage in the bycars?

the danger is that with all the wanton violence, the Bolton fans might inadvertently create a pretty spot which consequently destroys that unique Bycars ambience  - NICE 😍😍😍

Wouldn’t surprise me if BWFC thugs, don’t try to replicate what those clowns down the road, did to the Hamil End.

It'll probably improve the toilets...

Bolton were sanctioned for trouble caused by away fans in 2022. Hopefully the club has secured improved behaviour. But if a small number of fans are committed to causing trouble they will continue until the Police, through the intelligence system, come to terms with them and confront their behaviour. Hooliganism can become habitual behaviour for delinquents who form social groups. They need to be broken up.

The league isn’t so tight now that a few games have been played. It would give us a nice cushion if we can take 3pts from Bolton.

What a difference so far this season, B@rnsley aside obviously....😁

Surely 10,000+ for the Bolton match....

Train disruption is an issue on this day. But I expect you are right.

First real test of the Policing arrangements for away fans.  It’ll be interesting to see what the walk in from the areas around Scotia Road or Stanfields will look like.

The commute to and from the railway stand is concerning me for this one, as we do this from the Bycars corner of the ground. Don't really want to have to walk the extra distance in to Burslem, but may have to for me and the missus not to get caught up in any unpleasantness with Vale normals and Notlob <ovf censored>.

LAst Tuesday, versus Burton, people were stopped from leaving the RS via the Bycars corner. We went out via the other exit but were able to walk from the exit along the path in between the car park and the RS turnstiles. We then walked along the path towards Bycars road and mixed freely with Burton fans.I struggle with walking and really don’t want the extra walk either. My daughter takes us to the game, she’ll have to pick us up after.😉I’d expect that there will be NO exit via the RS/Bycars corner against Bolton or being able to walk along the path towards that area.If there isn’t it could become a free for all for the knobs.

Ah, the Foaming Quart, proper pub.

As another 'Edinburgh chap', I had an epic journey all booked for this one: Eurostar at 09.03 from Paris, then Euston-Stoke-Longport before the game, and Longport-Crewe-Edinburgh arrive 22.22 afterwards.

But then... rail strike. According to Trainline there are no trains at all from Euston to Stoke next Saturday. The only consolation is that I got a full refund from Trainline.

Don't know if this information is useful to anybody but Arriva Trains Wales don't seem to be on strike. There should still be some Manchester to Cardiff trains that stop at Crewe. From there you can get the service bus to Burslem from the stop at the roundabout outside the Crewe Arms.
