Swan, Grew,Kent,Porter, Van der Laan,Cross,Mussy, Gareth Griffith, Ray Walker. Colin Garlick and DC all attended. Great night went on for over three hours. Video message from Ian Taylor.

The JR statue is going to cost £100k, he is due to release his autobiography, with proceeds going towards the statue. I wasn’t aware but this isn’t the first event that has been held to finance the cost of the statue.

A video message from Nathan Smith, having been voted player of the season.

Superbly entertaining evening with lots of genuinely funny stories from the players.

It's clear why we punched above our weight in those days. I doubt you would get team bonding like those days anymore.

Swanny a genuinely funny storyteller. Stories about Andy Porter's reputation showed why you would never want him as an opponent.

But the main reason for the post ... a great big thank you to Mark Porter and the SC. Well done guys.

Over £40k now raised and I am sure once you get over half way the ever reducing sum will be a great inspiration to meet the target.

Rob, Martin Foyle apparently in Scotland on holiday, same for Aspo. I’d have really liked Bernie/Kerr to be there. It would have been good to see all of them. Great thanks to those that did make it. Swan said he’d had to travel three hours to be there 👏👏.

Dan Townley was there. He's currently employed by the club. The Port Vale media team also helped create the videos for the night.

Yes sorry i was assuming they meant hierarchy like the Shanahans, Halkett etc.
