Andy, yes the bar was obviously good for camaraderie. What I took from it was when they said, we trained on a poor pitch, played on a poor pitch, which was to our strength. However they could also play on a good pitch. Probably the reason why JR, played with two wingers so the ball could be played on probably the better parts of the pitch.

Excellent evening! Full of nostalgia. Shameful that the event took place away from Vale Park. What on earth is going on? Carol appears to have changed her views on having an open and honest dialogue with the Supporters Club who are doing their utmost to provide funds for the John Rudge statue. Shame on you Carol.

Don't just jump to conclusions mate.

I dont think the event could have been staged at the Vale as it required a cinematic projection and inclined seating. Plus hold just shy of 300 

Which room at the Vale meets that criteria.

Have you seen that Carol has announced a salaried position of Fans co-ordinator?

I have been to plenty of evenings at Vale Park which required cinematic projection. All were very successful and there was a clear view of the screen. I have noted the advert for a Fans Co-ordinator. I'm not sure about the role, time will tell. The club are making significant losses despite improved attendances, some staff have lost their jobs as a result. It appears to me that the club has too many behind the scenes staff.

I think there has been a breakdown in communication between the club and SC. The proof will be if any future events take place at the Mitchell Memorial or the club. As I said time will tell.

Rarely happy where Vale are concerned. Been attending matches for far too many years!😀
