After MK Dons were Beating them earlier.

It Could be the reason the Vale avoid Relegation ?

Although it was the final game to make us safe, we can thank ourselves for getting 49pts. It isn't just Barnsley who ensured that MKD can't catch us, many teams have taken points from them and others who can no longer catch us.

So after 46 games in league 1 we send thanks to Barnsley?

We have put 49 points on the board with a game to go 50 was always the target and we have nearly got there. We have not had the rub of the green with decisions or injuries.

Accrington Penno disallowed goal and the Lincoln sending off would have meant we were safe with 4 games to play.

The league doesn't lie and we deserved our 49 points so far..

Hard to take 1 moment in 46 games. 

There are numerous not least the Accrington incident and the Lincoln one.

We also got a last minute winner v Shrewsbury.

As it happens it was all academic anyway as Burton have beaten Cambridge tonight. All of those results were never going to go against us after the Rovers win.
