Nothing to do with us getting,  at least, 49 points then?

Be interesting to see after Sunday when we will know exactly how many points were required for safety,  at what point in the season we had got enough.   Eg, with 4 games to spare, 5 games etc.

We also got a last minute winner v Shrewsbury. 

Morecambe hit the post on Boxing Day and we take three points. Holden's miss at Cheltenham potentially cost us a win but then Mal Headbutt Benning arguably got away with it a few minutes later that saved us a point. Matty Taylor misses a sitter v Burton and we end up losing. If Jack Stevens wears a cap he probably saves the first at Accrington (with his hands, the cap is for the sun) 😬

I felt totally deflated when I realised Stevens was in goal at Accrington. As a schoolboy keeper 50 years ago, I understood the risks the sun can pose and never dropped the ball over the line like that. It's a gross mistake to add to his total inability to actually save anything that went on throughout his period as number one. I hope he goes back to Oxford and is able to regain some form there.

You are being too kind Warren using the sun as a reason for his error. 

Only minutes before he was flapping terribly whilst claiming he was fouled .

He was as likely to chuck a ball in his own net whether rain, shine or snow.

Thanking other clubs for keeping us in the third division. Is this how far we have fallen? If this had happened under Bratt he’d be getting Offal in the post and needing a police escort.

Yes - he couldnt see as his cap fell over his eyes - but at least it blocked out the sun 🙈🙈🙈

Just been looking at the table to see who could go down, looks like it will be quite an exciting end to the season. Also thanks to half the bristol team who looked ready for their summer holidays, without that win we’d be in the thick of it.

And yet, 7 days later that BR team who were on the beach, drew nil nil at promotion chasing Peterborough,  possibly denying them promotion? Maybe we deserve a little credit here?

We have put 49 points on the board with a game to go 50 was always the target and we have nearly got there. We have not had the rub of the green with decisions or injuries.

Accrington Penno disallowed goal and the Lincoln sending off would have meant we were safe with 4 games to play.

The league doesn't lie and we deserved our 49 points so far..

Yes - we don't get enough credit from our own fans! I did say, a few games ago, that of the bottom 4, only Cambridge could catch us, but they would have to make up 9 on GD...I also said we were safe, because they wouldn't do that AND us not take any points! So - thanks VALE - for doing your bit!!

No, it isn't how far we've fallen! We're not all doing that - some of us are actually giving our team the credit for getting the points themselves!

Hard work done first half of the season and fully deserve to stay up. Down tools and don’t give a <ovf censored> 2nd half of the season, deserve to go down.

If we can have a full season like the first half of this season then we will be banging on the door.

Let’s hope the second half of this season doesn’t bleed into next season.
