It would be commercial common sense to get some serious sponsorship in at this current time. We know it would be used to strengthen the team,not going into some greedy sod's arse pocket. Way forward for me. Plum porter stadium has a real ring to it!

Carol said yesterday that if sponsorship was available for renaming the ground that she would ask the fans for their views.

 

Vale Park is hardly an inspired name but it has been the name of our home for almost 70 years.

 

What would your views be if you were asked about it.

Change itnfor crying out loud. If Vale got a few Million for it. It is a no brainer.

The “insert sponsor’s name” Vale Park. I would want the sponsor to have some local provenance e.g. Titanic Brewery, though I’d wonder if they had the cash.

OK with me, the ship will always spring to mind before the adjective, but if the brewery wish to sponsor why not.
