I've just been on the official site to find out the ticket office opening hours and have noticed that the ticket prices are published as £21 Lorne Street and £20 other areas. Last time I bought single match tickets it was £23 and £22.

Was this the case for the season just ended or are we seeing the first fruits of the new regime?

£21/£20 are advanced prices, £23/£22 on the day prices.

The prices before the day of the game are two quid cheaper than if you buy on the day. It's been like that for a while.

Anyone with any doubts should listen to that interview and all doubts will be dispelled. Absolutely brilliant.

Took your advice and gave it a listen. 17 minutes of pure bliss. When Carol was asked what Vale fans could expect from them, she said 'Honesty and integrity'. I could have hugged her! Just a sheer contrast to the dross we've had to put up with over the last few years. We truly, truly, couldn't have better owners than these good people. Honest, down to earth, humble and full of inspiration and ambition for the club. I'm as sure as I can be that we are going to see the good days coming back to Port Vale.

We the die hard supporters all know plenty of former fans who've stopped going to matches. We can quietly, persistently encourage them to buy themselves a season ticket again. For less than £13 per match it's good value. If we can sell 5000 we should have a competitive budget and a better atmosphere.

Absolutely brilliant interview. They both come across as humble yet determined. I'd like to thank them both from the bottom of my heart.

It will take time but with these two at the helm, I see nothing other than good times ahead for the 'Vale Family'.

I enjoyed the interview until garlic got involved, quiet, genuine, honest people talking about port vale and what they feel it should and does mean to the fans, the town and the community.

I don't disagree with what garlic said but it's a rehash of what the crap owners pontificated about when they took over.... it didn't need to be said in the interview, it marred it a little for me...... but how bloody refreshing of the new owners not to tell us how important they are and what we must do. It was much appreciated.

What a breath of fresh air Carol and Kevin are. Down to earth, honest, little bit quirky and decent. No lies, ******** promises or regurgitated garbage. They really seem to care about the community and the club!

I disagree about Garlick. He’s clearly not the type to be the face answering questions and is obviously going to give standard answers to what he was asked. I said before that he would probably end up playing an important role under the new regime, if he proved his worth throughout the takeover process. Obviously he has done and it appears as though he will be staying. It will be interesting to see what he can do under sane owners. I think his football experience and knowledge will help them both massively.

I’m genuinely excited for a the first time in a long time.

Massive thank you to Kevin and Carol for saving our club from the depths of despair.
