Still after reading through pages of hysteria this is surely a benefit for those demanding change as they will now get the change they want.

 

It wasn’t half a ill advised emotional outburst from Smurf, still now new potential owners have the chance to show everyone how the club can be run or incur wrath and demonstrations in a couple of years for their failure.

Losing VP would be a small price to pay to get rid of the odious little shot.

 

Matter of interest - how would people view a ground share with Stoke while a new ground was being built, assuming the Coates family were agreeable?

 

I doubt the Coates would be open to helping us in any way. Can't see many wanting to take the trip over there either.

No chance Coates would agree or if he did he would look to charge more than Smurf.

Also interesting to see your posts of criticism for those who've created a situation where a credible buyer has an offer on the table as we speak.

 

What are your views on Norman effectively deciding he'll put us into insolvency, despite Carol and Kevin's bids? Is it somehow defensible as old Norm is a bear we shouldn't have poked? His seemingly bereft moral compass somehow leaves him in the right?

The solution is and always has been the owner prepared to put most money in to the club, read Andy Holt’s comments recently, he’s absolutely nailed lower league football a field in which he’s been very successful.

 

To be absolutely clear though anyone, be it SS, the Asian group etc that buys the club and not the ground is clearly mad.

Fingers crossed Smurthwaite has seen the light on this. Assuming it goes through, I believe it is the right move for all parties, certainly Vale and Smurthwaite. Fingers crossed it is the right move for the Shanahans and Synectics too.
