Vale have him on trial at the moment , with a view to signing him ( was that a pig I saw flying?) . Thoughts on this ?

 

Not had a club in over a year and failed a trial at Bradford last month...

 

If he is a fraction of the player he was 3-4 years ago he could be a game changer but must be a reason at 30 he has fallen away.

But Eagles did the business for us after taking a few weeks to get fit, and if he's got a pulse he surely can't do any worse than our current midfield players.

 

You never know. He was born and bred in Derbyshire so living close to home might make a difference to his form. Who knows? But certainly worth a trial and putting through a few fitness tests to see if he is able to last the pace.

He is the type of player we need, attacking midfielder, stunner of a free kick on him, just hope he is fit and ready to go.
