Saturday's protest

Exactly the same for me really.

I ******* hate sex man and refuse to spend another penny at that place while he's around. I'd rather sacrifice my life.

I've not been to a game since relegation day at Fleetwood where I realised I don't see eye to eye with most of the folk who go to Vale, that was a very sad day. A lot of Vale fans make my blood boil unfortunately, not to the same extent that sex man does mind you. My mates who still go to Vale, and the realists on here, are up against it I feel. Something occurs every so often that makes me realise again how ****** it is. Maybe getting rid of sex man would bury a lot of those issues, I dunno, I just don't know if I'll ever enjoy standing shoulder to shoulder with Vale fans again and it feel right, like it used to. Things may change, hopefully I've got a fair bit of time left on this dump we call earth, I just don't think football will ever be a big part of my life again. I don't think I really like what it has become regardless of sex man, the fans etc. Football seems to be on its way out to me, that could be just because of how I feel about it though.

But sex man is the ultimate ******. Chief ******. GIVE HIM ******* HELL!!

When sex man’s gone and we’ve scraped all reminants of him from the soles of our shoes, then I’ll return the favour of driving you to an away match to get you back in where you once loved it. It’s not been Vale since Page, we’ll actually longer, but that’s when sex man started to show his true colours. Sex man FC has overtaken pvfc’s body, but his time is coming to and end. The car is filled with fumes and he’s beginning to cough...

I don’t think he was there was he? Biggest dissapointnent for me was that once the match kicked off I didn’t hear even the slightest moan towards Smurfwaite from any fan.

Even when Morecambe scores, most people just shrugged.

Sadly i think that most people, who still attend, have had the life sucked out of them. I know i have!

I paid £23 for two Lorne Street tickets on the day and left feeling depressed and miserable. I can’t have a season ticket due to the nature of shift work and generally need to buy on the day.

That’s the real sadness for me. That Smurfwaite’s asset stripping has resulted in a club I have watched since I even played football way back in 1992, leaving matches on the verge of tears.

I’ve been angry with Vale efforts in the past, 2008 Millwall away in league 1 springs to mind but this year the effort has been so bad I just think it is a tragedy.

I thought Glover back in our last league 2 stint was as bad as it could ever get. I can’t believe how low this is.

I wasn't at the meeting but understood the vote was massively in favour of the protest, perhaps someone will confirm. I understand it was close to 100% in favour. As Mark Porter didn't vote why would he not be elected again ? Perhaps you should stand I'm sure you will win with a huge majority .Any truth in the rumour you are holding your campaign meeting inside a phone box on Hamil Road.

The floor were 100% behind the protest and i believe they/we are 100% behind Mark Porter.

To be fair I think the plan was to protest, then once inside the ground get behind the manager and players.

Personally I think we need to up the ante and protest during the game as well. Maybe next game as the red card protest was postponed as a mark of respect to Gordon Banks.
