I have never been a Dodds fan but your obsession with him is a bit OTT as pointed out by others on here.

Hairnet was ***** when he was at Vale along with a lot of players around him and I was the first to criticise his performance. But I am afraid things haven't improved much since his departure. I don't get this thing where people are saying this present squad are better than last season. We are a team full of non league players that are not ready for the step up to "division 4" football. Not a great gulf people might say, but I personally think they lack in decision making and positional play.

He's not American he's English but went to university in America.

 

Don't think he has played in the UK but could be wrong there's very little online about him except from the university.

 

Apparently he's impressed enough to be offered a deal. I can only assume that he's a signing for the future rather than a first team player but you never know.
