Piling up the points prior to Xmas hasn't quite worked out, but 3 games left this year to give us a bit of comfort. Macclesfield doesn't look so easy now? Although still 24th, of their 4 league wins this season 3 have been in the last 4 games, including Sol`s new manager syndrome win against Crawley yesterday. Hoping for a dry day, some attacking spirit, and 3 points.

And please don't count the 4 in the paint pot.

Reason for doom and gloom is they have won 3 out of 4. As per Morecambe and Cheltenham it's perceived as an easy game on here.

Has typical Vale written all over it. Apart from Crewe we generally flop in front of good support.

Exeter and Carlisle are better sides than us and Macc have recently beaten them both.

I would have thought IF we don’t sell out, there would be on the day sales. Not many clubs in league 2 will turn money away. This is just my opinion, not official.

I don't go many away these days so hopefully we'll be better than the last time I went Macc. The prospect of a team with five centre backs is why most are doom and gloom before this one and why we're scraping 3000 at home.

It's hard to be optimistic when we create so little and rarely keep clean sheets.

Too often in the last 3/4 years we have played teams in the bottom 6 and seemed to have made a habit of losing or at best scraping a draw. This does not give the fans much confidence or a belief that we can go to Macc (or anywhere else), give a dominant display and return with all 3 points. If it does happen, then it will be, like at Yeovil, totally out of the blue.

Going to be a very tough game after watching the dire display on Saturday. Were a poor side and apart from an out the blue performance we wont create much at all.

 

5 defenders basically on the pitch leaves so much on the likes of Conlan and Manny and Hannant to create and they dont really do that do they? and thats where the problem is.

 

Aspin does him self no favours at all with how he sets up. Would you trust him with any money if we have some to spend?

 

I thought at the start of the season that we were a better side than the **** served up last season but i dont think we are at all.

 

What are we points wise compared to now and last season?

 

Lets hope we dont do our usual slump down the table after xmas or we are goin to end up in another relegation battle.
