What is happening at this Football club? The whole set up is rotten to the core. We know about Bennell , Gradi still suspended, and all of this under John Bowlers watch. He has tried to sweep everything under the carpet, thank goodness the press have revealed the facts. Not surprisingly Crewe have had an easy ride no searching questions from Mcgarry or the Sentinel.

Crikey, this is on an industrial scale. I was particularly taken by the last paragraph:

Manchester City and Chelsea have been holding their own inquiries but Crewe’s decision that one was not necessary at Gresty Road, having initially promised a full investigation, has attracted widespread condemnation from Bennell’s victims and dismayed the relevant authorities.

 

So more to come with the possibility of a further trial compounded by Crewe's failure to honour their promise of a full investigation; and a shocking lack of transparency.

 

This is going to be hanging over them for a long time and the prospects don't look promising. Crewe's fans should be very worried. Does anyone know what the sanctions might be under the FA's rules?

Not all of them. A couple I know say everyone knew what was going on and were only surprized it hadn't come out earlier.
