More decent signings by the looks of it. May not be world beaters but should definitely strengthen the squad. Does anyone else think we are still in desperate need of a ball playing centre mid though? Or just me?

What’s nice is that we aren’t filling in glaring gaps with loans like last year. Loans will be an added bonus.

I still break out in cold sweats remembering when we made out 6th loan signing, it slowly dawning on us that not all 6 can be in the squad, and Brown had either panicked or not noticed.

 

Getting players signed up permanently (or for the entire season) is great work.

Agreed. Most promising summer we've had for a while (on paper). Will be interesting to see if ST sales by the end of June match or beat last season. If they don't, then that just goes to show that supporter apathy is well and truly ingrained.

And that's the problem, once you loose support it's hard to claw it back the damage done by Smurf the previous last 2 seasons is obvious but he has backed us this season so far so fingers crossed.

Lots of Swindon fans seem to rate him. A few of them responded to his Tweet yesterday saying they wanted him back. He’s 6ft 5 so he would certainly give us another option up front.
