The way I read it RB, no one is forcing Boris to do anything other than what Boris wants to do. Even after a 11-0 thrashing it seems to me he is tramples on UK democracy as though he, and only he knows what needs to be done.

Parliament is forcing him to seek an extension unless a deal is agreed, of which  the cut off date may be changed while he is away at the Birmingham junket next week. Prison is an option depending on certain events.

So why has Corbyn said that he'll go for an election once there's an extension or no risk of no-deal?

Because he thinks that would be a safer option presumably.  However Labour's policy on Brexit is still as confusing and opaque as it ever was, so one wonders what their manifesto would spell out and what they would be pushing for during the campaign?  To leave? To remain?  Or as they have done all along....sit on the fence?  It really is an intriguing and for Labour, a dificult dilemma!

I would guess sit on the fence and offer free money.

Whereas the Tories will come down decisively on one side..... and offer free money

Libs will come down on the other side and offer cheap tuition... no scrap that.... they did that before and trebbled it.

The SNP will offer a referendum, free membership to the EU  and demand someone else pay for it.

The DUP  will accept payment via PayPal.

The independents will offer to join any party who will have them.... except Labour or Tory because they left and don't want to return or were excommunicated.

It's not confusing and I don't get why people keep claiming it is. We want a deal with his 'five pillars' - the customs union, the trade relationship, protection of consumer and environmental rights  the Good Friday agreement - and he will then present that to the electorate with a simple choice of accepting it or remaining.  Whether Labour officially campaign for or remain neutral is irrelevant as if we remain neutral, it means MPs/ candidates can campaign for whichever side they believe in.  So, Labour's position is new deal and then 2nd vote.

You dont get it at all.

We must leave Europe

Innnnggguuurllaannndd!

What are you talking about?

Your idea of me is completely false.

Any chance of you explaining your logic behind that post?

Just to give you an indication, today, boris has been called a dictator and a fascist by people who are utterly outraged by him saying the words surrender bill.

These people are bare faced liars who have no morals.

A crack down on incendiary language in parliament, if applied fairly, hits the labour party hardest.

They are literally trying to legislate to force boris to act how they want?

He is quite simply upholding democracy. We voted to leave. We have not voted for delays we have not voted for a deal, we have not voted against no deal.

Why do you think parliament are refusing an election?
