Brexit again...

This is just so stupid, and kind of indicative of the level of debate. It makes me very sad. We live in the house that was formally the house of the Rabi, next to what was the Synagogue. Not now. All the Jews were taken away. Transported from a railway station I use every day.

My best friend is a Jew. There is a huge difference between Jewish people and the State of Israel. He's my mate. Along with his Palestian mates. If only life was so simple.

Maybe I'm naive, but I just do not get the problem? I have no problem with anyone (and my wife works for a Muslim company so I hang with plenty of Muslims, no problem).

One thing I learned early is that ordinary people anywhere are the same as ordinary people everywhere.

People should be judged (for want of a better word) on their character not the colour of their skin, religion, country of birth or origin, sexual preferences (with exclusions), language etc.

Ignore the above and see the person.

After watching lammy being interviewed by Andrew Marr and Neil....... I think he uses the words "these/those people" far to much, often associated with racist comments and he is an absolute fruit loop.

I am a racial minority...... so what?

I had a friend die..... sad but.... so what?

Neither of the above validate what he is saying.

Fascists were elected..... so his conclusion..... all elected are fascists?.... he doesn't care if they were elected?..... well that's democracy screwed then eh, bring on big government.

Admitedly I have only seen the two interviews and my view may be skewed .

About half of them if you're talking about enacting parties' manifestos.

I wouldn't argue with that but it's not what I said.

Hitler sat down with Chamberlain did Chamberlain like Hitler?

He is a politician, I don't trust politicians, they lie, all of them.

I wasn't in the country so couldn't vote, I would have voted to remain if I had voted because it was beneficial to me.

Because you think something is obvious doesn't make it fact.

I asked how you know..... not why you thought..... jezza doesn't hate Jews.

I presume he doesn't..... he would commit political suicide if he admitted he did....

Maybe he doesn’t but he drags his feet when tackling the problem inside his party.

The problem continues on here with some of you because you still won't concede a point and admit to anything that does not support your own biased views.

We were discussing Brexit and how the far right has infiltrated the Leave movement and ramped up aggressive and jingoistic emotions.

But instead of saying, yes, that's a fair point, you either ignore the facts completely or change the subject to Corbyn and the Labour Party because you don't want to address the issue.

You see this is where arguments become ridiculous on here. The Labour Party is not full of anti-semites nor is if full of people who are anti white working class. It has a small minority who fall into those groups but it is not full of them. Using hyperbole like that does you and your arguments no favours.

UKIP have had their fair share of idiots in the party but are wholly a party who listen to the working classes and lower middle classes and want a stop to the ridiculous levels of immigration and wasteful spending by Labout whom want to guarantee local people local jobs and local housing

Labour, on the other hand, see great benefit on sending thousands of migrants here, to cheapen the local rates and dwindle the jobs and housing available

UKIP are prepared to give a full clean Brexit...Labour want to stay in the EU

They are all the 'facts' you need to know. Now let's move on and hope people see common sense in the European Elections as well as the locals.

The left have dished out some disgusting comments of their own...time and time again

You just don't get what is making people angry who support right sided parties and I guess you will wilfully never know. Ignorance is bliss

Don’t disagree you have a fair point. The far right extremists have become a lot more vocal but the left side or Remainers have been equally vocal with hatred against Brexiteers, you only have to look on this forum to see the verbal abuse against those supporting a Brexit. I also feel the racist card is thrown around too much, anyone who wants us to have stricter control of our borders is called a racist by a certain sector of the public.

Corbyn has a lot closer ties to the Nazi party.....they both hate Jews.

Any proof that he hates Jews? Not that it is relevant. Not agreeing with the invasion of Palestine by Israel contrary to the UN Charter does not make anyone a Jew hater, I have nothing against Jews but the occupation by Israel of another country is a different matter. Not that it has much to do with Brexit, anything does when there is no case.

What is this UKIP Plan for a clean break? How does it work, surely Farage with all his EU experience would have set it out in front of the nation, then been invited into the Lords, and made PM to carry it out in a couple of weeks. No point in going through the process of becoming an MP for such a leader.

During the referendum campaign, Farage didn’t want a clean break as you put, he was advocating the Norway model. Several of the more vociferous Leavers were denying they wanted to leave the single market. Owen Paterson said only a madman would do so. The clean break or leave without a deal has only been mooted after the referendum by the Leave leaders, not before.

There are strict immigration rules for people wishing to enter the UK

There is also a points system.

There is also an EU law which allows EU countries to deport people if they are becoming a burden. This is widely used on the continent and also in the UK.

Problem is the Tories don’t like Public Sector workers so there are not enough immigration officers to police it.

But let’s just make up our own **** and blame it on Labour ay Kippers?
