Brexit again...

What an absolute shambles Brexit is turning out to be, if the politicians in Westminister can't agree on a Brexit Plan then how the hell can they agree with the EU.

The end point of all this is Jeremy Corbyn in No. 10 which would be the ultimate disaster, then the main reason for voting for a Brexit would certainly not happen.

I intend to retire to the continent as well, would go now if work allowed so hopefully more countries leave the EU making them more attractive propositions

Without free movement of people what makes you think any EU country would welcome you, that is of course unless you are a multimillionaire.

My point is outside the single market and any extra costs that it may bring around will mean British people get a worse deal when getting a new car against customers in Europe inside the single market with free trade agreements. As for what they find incredible, it is the 'buy now pay later' culture we have with companies like Brighthouse for items like sofas, mobile phones, washers, cookers etc etc. We have a the fourth-highest total household debt in the world in 2013. Germany not even in the top 10. In 2017 UK public debt was at 90% of total GDP against the Germans 65.7%. It's not a good place for us to be in as a nation.

How would you be stupid? If you buy a car for (hypothetically speaking) £20,000 and get finance on it that costs you £25,000 - then you're 5 grand down over three years. If you save up £20,000 and pay for it outright, your getting the same thing for 5 grand cheaper than what other people are getting through finance. Then you can sell it and recoup more money back. Generally people rent now because they don't want to keep the car for 5-10 years as folk traditionally would have in the past.

As for houses the numbers who rent is very similar to here in the UK. That is for a variety of reasons, not really relevant to what I was saying. Int Economic Law was a large part of my masters, but not that in its entirety. It was more tongue in cheek for bragging about an economics A Level. We didn't study about cars either, more about bilateral investment treaties, WTO law, investment law of private firms in international contexts etc. So, laugh all you like - I still have that on a piece of paper than helps me get by in life. I'm only in my 20's too, so still have a lot to learn as well and have no problem admitting that. What academic achievements in life have you made seeing as your so quick to denounce someone else's!?

Worth mentioning that interest rates will very much be influenced by the kind of Brexit deal we get, so it could be an outcome that finance will stop if rates increase!

Just to make things clearer I am not a hard line Brexiter nor was I bragging about having ‘A’level Economics.I will however brag about my father whose business was more to do with worldwide sales than the EU.There is more to life than being in the EU.Unlike yourself and others i’m trying to find positives. The mass exodus of businesses ain’t happening and won’t imo.Rates are stable, employment is at a record high, people want to invest in the UK.If companies were going they would be packing up now or are they waiting for March 30th 2019?I was a remainer,I changed my mind. The EU will treat us like dog ****,stay or leave. We can bail ourselves out if need be.We aren’t Greece.

5k interest over 3 years on a 20k loan! You really need to shop around more.

Economically, I studied business at college, stupidly decided not to go to university but started my own business which has led me to running my own business which led to me running my own business with a £70 million pa turnover. I have also worked in the motor trade, the finance trade and have had my own high end sports car. I am no expert in economics by a long way but I do have a bit of experience and can honestly say there are far better opportunities to make money than throwing your money by paying outright for a car or a house more often than not.

It is very easy to move to an EU country wether or not you are an EU citizen, I think you will find that none EU countries are a lot harder to move to.

If you had a serious life changing illness surely you wouldn't just accept it? It's normal to oppose what you don't like, the anti-EU mob have been doing it for 45 years and now their chance has come they're making the biggest mess imaginable of it.

I’ve got a life changing illness.I don’t like it but I get on with it.Most people don’t like change but thems the breaks sourcey.

So you want to make life harder for the young then swan off into the sunset leaving behind your Brexit Britain utopia? What crass hypocrisy!

Or quite the opposite. If we have a Brexit we could have a lot brighter future for the young.

Well I'm sorry to learn you have an illness but at least you have the socialist NHS to treat you, something the right wing Brexiteer politicians don't believe in and something that would be even harder to fund in a no-deal economy.

Post Brexit that may change. Currently it is hard to move to a none EU country, at least one that would offer a safe and good standard of living.

Hypothetically speaking I did say... University is not the be all and end all, I went later in life than people around me as I wanted to get into business straight away. It's only worth going if you do something with it and a proper subject.

Seems you've done well within the EU then from a business perspective. Strange you should despise it so much.

Only for people with something to offer. Still won't be as straight forward as it is now. Especially not knowing the deal that we will get.
