Brexit again...

Davebrad

Recommended Posts

Wait until Monday and comrade Jezza will say he has had a change of heart and will want to stay in the single market.

This means we won't be able to negotiate with other countries for trade deals and accept freedom of movement.

He will do this for political gain hoping he can get enough remoaning Conservative MP,s to side with him to force a General Election. He will sit on the fence trying to appease both leavers and remoaners until he gets power. All his promises about no student loans and nationalising public services will be conveniently forgotten.

Standard, geritatric nonsense

The only people scaremongering about kicking anyone out is the remain side. I think every prominent Brexit voter has said they don't want to see that and there was never a realistic prospect of it happening.

I don't think it's particularly sad that a democratic vote has made some people worried though. I am confident that they, me, you, my children and my parents will be better for it in 10 years time.

And what exactly are you implying with the "immigrants" thing? This isn't the classic all brexit voters are racist **** again is it?

I manage accounts in my day job and role is specifically dealing with Latin America and mainland European business. Sorry if you predicted that.

I had a black best friend in primary school. Don't know what he's up to nowadays though.

As for your brilliant Spanish story, I'm really sorry for your friend of a friend, there are some really terrible people in this country, like there are in every country you will ever visit.

ATTACK???!?! Quick report me for hate crimes so your stats can go up a bit more.

It's you that's obsessed with education.

attack

əˈtak/Submit

verb

1.

take aggressive military action against (a place or enemy forces) with weapons or armed force.

"in February the Germans attacked Verdun"

synonyms:begin an assault, charge, pounce, strike, begin hostilities, ambush; More

2.

criticize or oppose fiercely and publicly.

"he attacked the government's defence policy"

synonyms:criticize, censure, condemn, castigate, chastise, lambaste, pillory, savage, find fault with, fulminate against, abuse; More

There are two definitions of the word attack. Considering your views on the topic, I shouldn’t have expected you to know that.

 you've lost your head here, but thanks for showing that I've not attacked anyone.

Go back and apply that definition to anything I've said in this thread.

Yet all you can do is insult but not give any substance or reasoning to your thoughts. Wouldn’t expect anything less from someone who last time came out with the statement “ anyone who voted for UKIP is a racist”.

It’s obvious by this thread that those who supported Brexit still do and those who didn’t still don’t by those who are posting. Everyone has an opinion and I don’t think it will ever change, long after we leave the EU. Brexiteers will blame shortcomings on poor negotiations and anything else that may go wrong will be blamed on Brexit by the remainers. I think there will always be a divided opinion on what is right and what is wrong. There’s no need to insult others for their opinions though, just like some people may vote for Labour or Conservatives, it is their choice and they will come to their decisions in different ways and for different reasons.

Debate it yes but don’t throw insults or feel you are better than anyone else because they don’t agree with you or have the same opinion.

That’s my thoughts.

Why does a country of 60m people which doesn’t have significant natural resources think it can compete successfully and economically with countries and trading blocks each containing 300m+ people. Esspecially one that’s allowed the rape and pillage of it’s manufacturing sector over the last 40 years or so.

The uk has punched above it’s weight in the world for centuries but for me in the modern world the future outside the eu is much more uncertain. Talk about shooting oneself in the foot.

In march 2016 , the British army put in an order of 600+ army personnel vehicles , built in the uk using welsh steel . In stepped the EU in May 2016, half now to be built in Spain , with the steel now coming from Sweden. Great news for uk industry. As alan sugar says , every order that comes to britain has to be put to tender in the EU , strangely the UK dont win many of these tenders .

Too true. Leaving the EU will only help manufacturing.

The company I work for closed its last factory in Nottingham 2 years ago employing over 5000 people at its height. It has now built factories in Bulgaria and Poland as the Labour is cheaper even though it is a British company. This would never have happened had we not been in a single market.

What did any of that have to do with the EU? Should we pay well over the odds just so we can put a 'Made In Britain' sticker on stuff?

If that's correct, that was terrible error of judgment by Yukon.

He should of course said “anyone who voted for UKIP is a thick, gammon-faced racist”.

I look forward to them re-opening their doors as soon as we leave the EU.

If you think it'll come to pass that UK drivers won't be allowed to drive in the EU then you must have believed the NHS will get an extra £350m a week and immigration will be properly controlled. It's scaremongering of the highest order making a mountain out of a molehill over a point of political legality.

Not forgetting of course that all planes will be grounded as well?😂
