Brexit again...

No, you are wrong. An MP has responsibility to their constituents, parliament and their political party. So it's not just someone who should be doing anything and everything their constituents want them too.

Yes it nearly cost him his seat at the General election.

He was lucky to survive a very close vote.

Just hope he remembers next time not to upset his constituents.Hope his constituents remember how he sold them out.

Politicians are the problem with Brexit.

Corbyn has now conned his followers that we need to stay in the single market and be dictated to by Europe for the foreseeable future.Like sheep they follow him despite the majority voting to leave. It was clearly explained that if we left Europe we would would have to leave the single market and then would be able to conduct our own trade deals.

Was it?

This will be my only comment on this already saturated subject. The Great Unwashed should never have even had a vote on whether to leave or not. This is why we elect MP’s, who are far more qualified to make an educated decision on such an important decision. The future ? I don’t give a toss about the future. If you want to blame anyone, there is only one person to blame. Cameron for allowing the vote in the first place as people were NEVER going to vote on political issue’s, even if they had the knowledge to do so. Just move on let things pan out as they will because nothing we say or do will make one iota of difference. Now what time is Emmersale on ?

Spot on I think, Railway Rowdy.

It's clearly ****ing hilarious isn't it Regal, people who've settled here with young families stressing about what happens next, if they'll still be able to live and work here. Verbally abused by strangers. Generally made to feel unwelcome. So yeah, laugh it up. But it's OK, you work with some "immmigrants" yourself. How predictable. Are some of your best mates black as well?

I could have told you a story of a friend of a friend who was having a cig outside a bar in Manchester and got hit by some bloke because he was talking in Spanish but as I didn't witness it first hand I decided against it.

I really don't know where you're going with this.

Here's a direct quote from the Daily Mirror:

British motorists might be stopped from driving in Europe after Brexit because UK licences will no longer be recognised, it has been claimed.

If ministers fail to strike a deal with the EU on transport holidaymakers might find themselves unable to hire a car on the Continent.

During a presentation yesterday the European Commission suggested the mutual recognition of driving licences could be withdrawn as a “consequence of the UK becoming a third country in the road transport sector”.

It said if the UK left the internal market “all current EU law-based rights, obligations and benefits" would cease.

So The Daily Mirror is peddling classic propaganda as an organisation with a vested interest in promoting a right wing 'hard Brexit'?

I'd stop digging if I was you.

If you think it'll come to pass that UK drivers won't be allowed to drive in the EU then you must have believed the NHS will get an extra £350m a week and immigration will be properly controlled. It's scaremongering of the highest order making a mountain out of a molehill over a point of political legality.

Utter garbage from the educated again.

Where have I said it didn't happen? I'm just putting the same argument that was used in the post I quoted.

Having said that, the stats I have seen on 'crime' 'increases' are ridiculous, even the educated home office.

Try reading my post again before you reply next time.

Just replying to the comment you made. This attack on being educated has a familiar tone to it. It’s been around before.

not wishing to wind anyone up but, just to pi*s us off again our fellow partners are threatening us now by saying our drivers licences wont be any good after we leave:angry: barndoor and junkers(doesn't like us cause our Spitfires shot his planes down) are threatening us at every turn, now whether you were leavers or remainers we should now be one to get the best deal for our country. Its time to get serious with our talks, we should start putting some pressure on them...

how about no divorce settlement till we are satisfied with any talks, and anything not settled by the 2019 leave date is gone... as are we:thumbs:

Voting Leave is the best thing we did, the problem... We have to many people easily brainwashed by the media, EU and schools. The EU is rotten to the core, you can see this with how they are controlling the campaign. We have a scumbag remainer as PM and a labour party who are more interested in further our country up. We will be bigger & stronger out of the EU trading with the world not a select group of brainwashed countries. The sooner we leave and close the door the better. I fear our political elite won't allow it because they are weak and have no bottle or 'British' backbone, brain washed by a liberal unicorn snowflake Europe. This culture has weakened our youth to a point it unrepairable.

The only people scaremongering about kicking anyone out is the remain side. I think every prominent Brexit voter has said they don't want to see that and there was never a realistic prospect of it happening.

I don't think it's particularly sad that a democratic vote has made some people worried though. I am confident that they, me, you, my children and my parents will be better for it in 10 years time.

And what exactly are you implying with the "immigrants" thing? This isn't the classic all brexit voters are racist **** again is it?

I manage accounts in my day job and role is specifically dealing with Latin America and mainland European business. Sorry if you predicted that.

I had a black best friend in primary school. Don't know what he's up to nowadays though.

As for your brilliant Spanish story, I'm really sorry for your friend of a friend, there are some really terrible people in this country, like there are in every country you will ever visit.

But that is not what some Leave voters believed during the campaign.

Of course it's scaremongering but it's not the Tory or UKIP right wing propaganda you claimed. This is 100% scaremongering threats from the EU commission.
