Agree with all the above but how do we possibly get him out? Splitting the club from the ground into 2 businesses is what is gonna be the nail in our coffin cus although most think Norman is some sort of buffoon he is first a successful business man who has "Never lost out on a business deal" so whatever happens he leaves Vale a richer man which means we are ******. People ask where has Norman been? Well my personal opinion is he's been popping Champaign bottles since the Hugill sale somewhere alot warmer than his native Coventry, not sure how it can be done but we need him out but his arrogance and vindictiveness will see the club fold while he smiles on his way out a richer man.

It’s a catch 22 situation. Smurf did save us and that’s the reality of it. He’s put good money after bad into this club so as an entrepreneur whether you or I like it or not he’ll want as much money back as he can get. That is unlikely to equate with what I, as an emotionally involved fan thinks he should get. It’s commercial reality. I think Smurf regrets getting involved with Port Vale. Most clubs at our level our money pits. His ego bought into the Vale. It will be his business pride which will make him cling on by his finger tips until he hopes to extricate the maximum return he can get out of this sorry mess. Hughill money might assist him in reaching that decision. Take that money out and sell the bones of the club on the ‘cheap’. I think this will happen in the close season irrespective of the Division we are in. We can shout, holler and show red cards but I think that will be all to no avail. Smurf will leave when he wants to. The important thing for me is that there is no vacuum because he misjudged the interest in the Vale and got his timing wrong. I fully back Aspo and Rudge but they have been left with a lemon. If they get us out of this mess they will be even greater heroes than they already are in my eyes. If that’s possible. UTV

We need to get this rat out of our club. Vermin at the highest degree.

Easier said than done, greed drives him , nothing else,if he sees vale as a tax loss against his other interests then and only when he's trousered the hughill money then he might let go but until that day dawns £££££££££$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$££££££££££££££££.

He chose to buy the club with Wildes. Not for altruistic reasons, he thought he could make money out of it. Caveat emptor.

If he hadn’t decided to buy the club in 2012 then somebody else would have. Bob Young had other bidders.

I am sure he thought he could make money out. He was wrong. Despite my wish for him to sell up for the love of the club I don’t think that will happen until either he decides to cut his losses and pull the plug without a buyer. That to me is the worst case scenario for mine and your club. He would have cocked up his timing if that was the case and he equally be the loser. My concern though is purely the Vale. The most likely situation is that Smurf will cling on in the hope we stay up. High risk but as a business man I think that will be his strategy. Walk away from the club in the close season, take the Hughill money and sell the rest of the club on the ‘cheap’.

Hagrid, we have to start somewhere. I’m sure you remember the first protests last time were tiny. 5/6 of us standing in the rain after a night match. We got there in there in the end though and we will do this time. We need to get something in place for next week. A red card protest is a good start, maybe we could print some of his biggest gaffs on them to remind people? A few chants against him, black and gold scarves again (not a black and gold protest, but it’s something visual and easy). Just simple things that can be done for next week to make him feel uncomfortable, let him know the pressure is on. We’ve then got more time to organise something more solid for the Stevenage game.

Did Smurfwaite save us ? I thought Wildes was the chosen bidder by the administrator and Smurfwaite was involved later.

To those who say "Smurf saved us"....

He is a businessman with no - that zero, zilch, null - affiliation or affection for Port Vale FC. He entered into this transaction purely to make money and like any business, if you don't keep your punters happy and growing in number, then that business will fail...end of story.
