Foresters goal was a great strike. As soon as it left his boot it was in all the way, keeper had no chance. Foresters hold up play has been excellent too.

 

There's no way we're playing at 100% here, just doing enough with Friday in mind I think.

 

Pity we've let them back in it.

 

On a side note the pitch looks like it's cutting up badly.

We went off the boil after the second goal and they have had a lot of the play and probably deserved to get a goal.

 

We need to get back to passing and moving. Regis - fantastic start. Very strong lad but he seems to have run out of gas. Not surprised as it's his first game.

A few interesting omissions from this evening's squad who might have expected to play - Wilson, Davis, Middleton. Thought Turner might have got a run out too but he'll have to bide his time. He's still our second highest scorer too.

I think I’m all seriousness it’s a crap comp but a competitive game to give Forrester game time, it’s vitally important for him as he’s the makings of a gem if he can stay fit.
