Just read a transcript of his Radio Joke appearance and the question that immediately came to mind is.....what is the point of this guy??

I particularly like the "Michael's the manager, so we just carry on with it."

Terrific. Just absolutely brilliant.

If the Chief Exec can't be @rsed to arrest a slide that has seen us go 6 games without a goal and occupying 92nd place (out of 92) in the football league, then why should anybody else give a 5h!t??

You just get back to "running the business day-to-day" Colin, because after this season, there may very well be no business left to run. I wouldn't say that was a particularly impressive achievement for anyone's CV, would you??

The board of directors and/or the club chairman/owner decides who the manager is. Not the CEO. The CEO handles the business side of things, including the business of sacking manager IF they have been authorized to do so by the directors/ownership.

After watching each game, then reading the resulting articles & interviews from Brown/Fradley/Garlick, it's pretty hard for me to come up with a response to them at this moment to be honest. I think it's mainly because there's that much to say, it's difficult to know where to start.

So disillusioned with the club right now, & at a loss as to what we as fans can do, aside from sit back & watch it all unfold. I don't believe there is enough energy/fight for a protest, & because there's that much infighting between groups of fans, I doubt anything major would get organised anyway. So on one hand, I can't blame anyone for wanting to back us & hope that something changes, however I don't believe it will do anything for the team, therefore on the other, I can't criticize anyone for boycotting either.

On the whole, feeling very helpless, & the fact I'm having conflicting feelings about what result I want on Saturday says it all. I will be there (ST already paid for anyway), but do I wish for a win, so we can hopefully start to turn this around & move up the table? Or do I look for a loss, to get rid of the useless management team, as one win would be just papering over the cracks against the 2nd worst team in the league?

According to some, doing any of the above or wishing for whatever outcome would make me less of a fan, so I don't believe any result will truly be a win.

Very good post Tomo. Think we all going round in circles and beating ourselves up about the situation. Most threads merge into the same things and it is tedious though I still partake !

You are right about tomorrow it is a no win situation. Win and we happy but get ahead of ourselves and think we may of turned the corner. Losing is not an option or worth contemplating at the moment.

Seeing as I have gone off topic myself. Since Garlick came in I never had so much communication from the club via email so that is a positive. His statement re Brown is par for the course and maybe could be construed as the dreaded vote of confidence
