Staying up or going down ⚽

I really don't know. I think it's 50:50 to be honest. My heart says we'll stay up but my head says we'll go down. I would have been a bit more confident had we not sold two of our better players last week.

Odd substitutions for me by Brown. I was certain he'd throw on Reg and Anton at half time as the other two forwards were very poor in the first 45.

Can't see what Eagles does when he's stuck out on the wing either.

I think we'll drop. If we were stil playing Peterborough now I don't think we'd have scored. We were very one-dimensional in just slinging balls into the box and hoping for scraps. I've said several times there's soft centre running through the team; not enough players with steel or grit, mental toughness or who are streetwise, and know how to grind out results. And I think if Smith (or Streete for that matter) is out for any period of time then we really are screwed.

I think it was the Coventry game that did it for me. We had a couple of games prior - like vs Oxford and Gills as I recall - where we were utterly dreadful for 65-70 mins, and then snatched points late on. But Coventry was one of the most alarming performances I've seen since the last time we went down, especially considering the mess they themselves were/are in.

I think the proper preseason is coming to an end and a month after taking charge hese lads should be fit enough from now on. Still a lot of new comers to incorporate which is a minus but Foley playing 80 mins at full tilt and just lasting the 90 was good news as is my assumption that Forrester has now been eased in gently enough after a tricky injury. I'd like to have kept Taylor for continuity and I think Kiko and Knopps should both be ahead of Tansey but I think we've put some decent enough performances in to expect some of those to turn to wins over the next few months. I think we'll get 55-60 points and be underwhelmingly safe.

50-50

on viewing scunthorpe yes and Peterborough very close or relegated-

These young lads will not be consistence as they learn the rigors of the full time professional game but should be fully supported even on their off days they will need to be rotated to give them chance to re-charge.

The team should improve as its a new one but handling the pressure will be key for us all as will injuries to the main players.

think we will scrape by (managed to squeeze it out)
