Brown is NOT the answer!

Brown will keep us in the league, Im confident he can do it!

I would prefer an experience head with him, in some form or another. But its proabably not going to happen and Brown has the credentials to make a good manager, so best of luck to him!

Surely Kelly will help a lot, may be prefers to be an assistant without the pressure?

Every time I hear Brown speak he talks an awful lot of sense. He's just been on Radio Stoke for 5 minutes and comes across as a very thoughtful and intelligent and knowledgeable bloke. I hope he does well.

That I do agree with, he's a very together chap.

Yep, will certainly help. Was hoping for a 'been around the block' DOF or somthing similar till end of season roles personally.

That's a scenario I personally could accept. Brown has a lot of desirable attributes but on his own, for me he's sunk. If Smurf is set on giving him the job he needs a good DoF in too. Sadly, as the CEO situation has shown, that's where the chairman generally falls short

Brown has enough nous to make a success of the job,a few players slightly above average are whats needed, not well known faded figures from the upper leagues after a last payday, as I've said before new arrivals don't have to be world beaters to improve this lot.

The odds to lean heavily towards it being JFH who's going to be our next manager.

Smurf was asked last night on twitter and neither confirmed or denied it.

Personally I'm unsure about Hasselbank. Yeah he did well at Burton but was that just down to Rowett's well assembled squad? He then went on to perform terribly at QPR.

The latest BetVictor odds are quite surprising as they have Hasselbaink odds-on favourite at 4/7, with Paatelainen next at 6/4. Brown is now third favourite, having gone out to 6/1.

Depends who and why people are placing money, Can`t see it being a big market.
