I don't want Stoke. We'd get battered. I don't think the current team would get as emotionally up for the game as previous teams would considering how big a game it would be.

Agreed come on they a multi million pound squad and they r doing very well at present ,we dont want them at all .

Chelsea ,Arsenal ,Tottenham,Everton ,Liverpool ,Man Utd ,Aston Villa ,Leeds ,Man City ,West Ham Newcastle Sunderland,r all bigger clubs than them .

Any of them away for the money.

For the drama a home tie v Stoke would be looked upon with relish but there be blood everywhere ,Vale aint had the best of times for many years and im sure all the lads would be out to welcome the prawn sandwich only supported them since 2007 lot .

So exciting not knowing who we will get but we in it and im delighted so whoever we get hopefully the fans will turn up and back the lads .

This is a difficult choice. Heart says big Prem team, however, a home tie against one of the lower div clubs would allow us to hopefully progress to the 4th round.

TV may want to cover the match for a giant killing event - so TV money from that and a win bonus.

A couple of less obvious choices-

Rotherham, home or away - though they will have a new manager by then and will have doubled their 7 points probably.

A trip to the new imaginatively-named London stadium to take on the 'Ammers, or them at home and get a replay there.

The Champions, Leicester City - who are placing their priorities elsewhere and as a result may well be in the thick of a relegation battle, plus their Champions League campaign. Would be nice to beat the reigning champions and at home, just a chance. My apologies Supervaliant - just seen you posted the same club.

I suppose it would be too much to ask for another L2 side at home - Accrington or Cambridge perhaps.

And another thing - if both Vale and Stoke are drawn at home, we want the Saturday game.

No excuses about Peter Coates doing his nails and having to wash his hair so we have to play at 8:30am on the Sunday morning to accommodate them. We've changed many times in a row, so it must be their turn for a switch.

However, it was brilliant to see BBC1 show 3 of our goals almost 'live' yesterday.

I thought the BBC's coverage yesterday was good--it also helped that we scored 3 of our goals in the first half as we were the last to kick-off, the programme had finished before our match had!
