Got to fancy us at Brizzle Rovers but our away form is form is poor, Tavares should be dropped he was poor again yesterday, I took a mate the game yesterday and as a neutral he pointed out Tavares as worst player on the pitch so he's defo our weak link.

I'm not sure how you and your pal saying he was the worst player on the pitch 'defo' makes that a fact somehow.

He wasn't at his best but he's wasn't bad either.

The **** go 4-0 down to Crystal Palace' goal music of......glad all over

The bridge at Junction 15 is prime for a little banner congratulating them on their relegation to be hung over the side for the **** fans driving back from Southampton away on May 21st....

Be relegated way before that date based on this. They look absolutely awful.

Similar reaction from the readership? Time to mend fences?

There are a lot of us "dyed in the wool" Vale fans who are not so forgiving of the Chairman's ramblings and lies. He could go a long way to get some fans back on side by growing up and stop his spat with Sentinel along with an apology for saying Vale fans were thugs and racists.

Get over yourself....seriously pathetic. I couldn't care less if the chairman called us the devil incarnate because a football club is about the football and at the moment it's damn good!

Thoroughly enjoyed that in the end! We were pants in the first half, playing with no tempo and constantly playing the ball back and sideways. I think some of the criticism of Paterson is a bit harsh because for the whole of the first half he rarely had another Vale player within 20 yards of him. We looked so much better when we went to 4-4-2 and the strikers were able to support each other.

I know Nathan Smith is getting a lot of headlines at the moment and rightly so, but Remie Streete has been a rock beside him and deserves just as much praise. It was great that we brought on sub who was old enough to have fathered both of them - and no, I'm not starting a vicious rumour Mrs Brown!!

Now Nathan Smith has a better contract what about Remi Streete we can't wait until the end of the season until his contract to run out.

Smith was on a 'lads wage' according to Smurf I'm sure Remi isn't. That said I believe Remi is the most improved player from last season. I wouldn't of been too bothered had he left in the Summer but he now looks a totally different player.

On the subject of contracts though, I think we need to get back to days when we rewarded our better players with another contract 6 months before the old one ran down.

It is more than just the football. It is a CLUB which everyone should feel apart of. What you have to understand is that the Chairman has alienated a lot of fans with his penchant for ridiculous statements. The team is performing better that a lot of fans predicted before a ball was kicked. I have seen three of our games (all away) and have been impressed for the most part on what Bruno is trying to do. However for the club to improve in the long run it needs a bigger fan base and greater home support. If fans feel disenfranchised, as they do at the moment then they will continue to stay away. When you look at the attendances we have had so far then you must see that I am not alone in my lack of home support because of the Chairman's ramblings.
