2016/2017 Season Tickets

What would make those of you who are not renewing reconsider your decision?

I've not yet renewed my season ticket. I do support Port Vale and not Smurf/Page or certain players but I am biding my time to await the outcome of the carnage/circus surrounding the goings on (allegedly) at the Club. If I don't renew I will still actually attend most games at Vale so I believe I'm not actually harming the finances in any way. Smurf has made it clear that the budget will be slashed if he's here next season so he is not relying on season ticket sales BEFORE he comments on the budget.

If we have new owners and they make a statement concerning ticket costs etc I'm sure many fans will digest those remarks and make their individual decisions then. Whether you have a season ticket or not, to me anyway, at this moment in time is irrelevant. I'm Vale through and through and can't see any advantage or benefit at the present time in purchasing a renewal season ticket. Perhaps you can enlighten me?

You know how long I have supported Vale Jacko, i love the club.

It's a few things really. A few of them are-

Quality of football on offer. I was spoilt with teams in our past!

The manner of our chairman

My lads have no interest in football, which I hate but I won't force them. I would prefer to spend time with them on Saturdays

I would reconsider if new owners come in. I would give them my backing and time to change my mind.

I see this as an example of bad parenting and will be contacting the relevant authorities!!

Good lad. Fingers cross but not holding my breath.

Really bemused at times why people come on this site. While i realize it is about expressing views i am certain that ultimately it is about supporting our football club. Cynical and negative remarks hurt Port Vale as much as our current chairman and do nothing to encourage or players or other supporters to attend.

New owner. I have attended every home game in the last 3 seasons. I am just fed up of total lack of professionalism by current owner on many fronts.

And when I say "New owner" I mean an owner who owns PVFC in its entirety, the team, the shop , the ground, the club, the staff, the catering or anything else the current owner thinks that would be beneficial or in the interests of PVFC that he might think of hiving off.

Sadly mate it won't happen.

And even this sole owner couldnt get enough pies in the stands on decent games!

Shambles.

Just a thought"

If Smurf sells the club without the retail companies (ground / club shop etc)

Will he be taking £3 per match out of my season ticket money to cover the cost of the match day programme? Which I never wanted in the first place)

The owners of the club will sell the programmes surely, if Smurf was selling programmes who would buy them?
