I always think its weird chairmen don't get criticised when a manager fails. They're the ones who gave them the job. If you managed a company and you hired employees that didn't complete their job questions would be asked.

Not often l am speechless but what l witnessed today clearly shows lam not the right man to lead our great Club.As l agreed all appointments

We are currently in the top half of League One so its not all bad and Smurf probably needs to let the initial fury and bitterness of a bad defeat pass before commenting... He's like a fan on a forum right at FT after losing!

 

It's clear though Page hasn't been popular with fans regardless and seems Smurf now has the same doubts. Would be harsh to sack him after the form we've been in although the worry is Page nearly got us relegated despite having 48 points with 11 games left last season so he does have that potential dreadful costly run in him!

Norman would be due well to not make hasty decisions, far better to sleep on it. Of course today is a massive missed opportunity but that's football. It's no use getting rid of a Manager who has done ok in patches unless you have better option and you're prepared to back him with cash.

All this 'sad day for PVFC' baloney is embarrassing. OK, we've been knocked out of the cup by lower league opposition, **** happens. Page does seem to be a dead man walking though, despite the great run of form of late. He deserves better than the way some treat him.

For Page to say this after today's performance is disgraceful and has made my mind up that it's time for him to go. As SpunkTrumpet says, it's been a while since we beat anyone decent and we've struggled to beat the poor sides recently.
