Few decisions for Page on Saturday. Whilst I wasn't there tonight, from what I've seen we Folely in the middle when he's pushed out wide, as he and Granty link up better than MoC and Granty. That said MoC is a good player and MoC plays in the middle on Saturday, I would be tempted to rest Dodds and Foley and bring in Uche to partner AJLS and possibly Birchall (eeeeek) on the right.

Just back....great result, best run of results for years and the 3500 diehards go home happy. Can't be bothered to see what the armchair keyboard warriors are posting, I suppose when we move into the top 7 after Christmas they will all make an effort !!

Great win again and against the type of poor side that usually gets something out of us on a Tuesday at home. We've now got to go to a falling Rochdale and really end this hoodoo every time the top six comes into view as we have a real chance to consolidate now. We're only a point behind Bury and four behind Walsall now both who were miles away at one point!

I'm also sure I said in Pre-season that AJ and Dodds was our best forward partnership and AJ would be our top scorer too....

Just reading the match report on vale website and found the paragraph of comedy gold!

But for 2 missed penalties against Peterborough we would now be sat in the playoff positions. Well done Vale. Be great to keep this run going for a few games more. Give them the day off pagey then back to it Thursday. This league is anybodys!

Rochdale will be a tough game. It seems like they were a little unlucky tonight. I'd be very happy to come away with a point from there.

These players really seem to want to play for Page. I know some will disagree with me but I really like how even players that seemed to have been forgotten have been given the opportunity to earn a place in the side and to stay there if their performances are deserving.
