10 seasons ago in league 1, our last home league match of November was against Southend on a Saturday. It was attended by 3900 odd. And that was a Saturday match.

Think on about our attendances historically.

Strange game tonight.

Never looked in trouble first half. Loads of the ball but no end product.

Second half we started brightly and then looked dead on our feet. No support for Ajay whatsoever.

Subs changed the game.

People moan about Birchall but i would have him over Moore any day of the week.

Uche and Ajay caused their centre backs more trouble in 10 mins than in the previous 80.

Sam Kelly did superb to hold onto the ball to take out 3 players for the first as well, before he gave it to Dicko to cross.

Mcgivern was great again. And Duffy.

Thought Yates played like a struggling league 1 player. Never short of effort but not good enough.

Cracking win. 2 off playoffs but more importantly 12 off relegation!!!!

29 points, 21 to go, feet on the ground, but dreams in the sky too.

first of all , an excellent win against a hard working blackpool side . conditions were terrible and bearing in mind it was our third game in six days i guess it was not going to be a classy performance from us.

alnwick kept us in it with some excellent stops and although i am not his biggest fan i thought mc givern played very well (poss mom) . if you were a blackpool fan you would be wondering how you didn't get something from the game , as they had enough chances . as we know in football if you don't score when you are on top it usually comes back to haunt you and that is exactly what happened.

page gets full marks for changing the game with his subs. all three subs influenced the game and put blackpool on the back foot . both wide men in kelly and birchall started to beat their men and the physical presence of uche ruffled their defense . when we managed to finally get some decent pressure on the edge of their area a quality pass released our in form striker aj and he did the rest . that goal was quickly followed up by our second and good work by uche saw the ball reach birchall who did well to score using his instep .

on the whole not a great performance but an important win , especially due to the recent run of games and conditions . WELL DONE PAGE B/ROOM STAFF AND THE LADS.

Drop Yates- slows the pace of the game down. Purkiss in. We must play our best players. Also foley grant and moc in the middle. Moore out right and uche and ajls in the middle

Is that he Yates who made to blocks on the line? I imagine you'd drop McGivern too.

Page finally made decisive substitutions last night and it paid off. I really thought his reluctance to make subs could've cost us but this time it did not.

Birchall showing why he is a good squad player. I actually thought he played better than Moore did before his injury disregarding the goal.

He was still our worst player. Purkiss is a far better right back than yates, for all the effort he puts in he just isnt good enough. Looked out of his depth nearly even match so far.

Yesterday he probably was. But in the previous games he was very good.

Does not matter how good a player is, if he is injured a less able player is used in the team. Yates does have not the attacking skills, but is an adequate replacement defender within our budget.

Few points to note - for those on here screaming and bellowing for Page to be sacked after the Maidenhead FA Cup home game - hang your heads in shame.

What happened to all those on here who kept saying "He has a terrible win ratio since he took over, and we are heading for relegation blah blah"?

The infamous phrase saying "It's all gone quiet over there" is so true right now.

Massively pleased for Page that he has silenced his critics, well played Page-o.

With regards to my own comments about Leitch-Smith's goal-scoring record in the past, I will happily admit and say I am eating a slice of humble pie.
