You're right. Don't forget we have the tactical genius of Grew and Glover to fall back on. As I said before, 1-0 defeat which is exactly what Page deserves with that utterly ridiculous substition. I'd sooner play with 10 men than Birchall, because all he does is round round (slowly) like a headless chicken and then general slow the play down by passing it backwards. Poor, poor management for me and shows he is too chummy with the players. We're playing Barnsley not Barcelona, at least let's turn up and have a go.

 

How does it show he's too chummy with Birchall, just shows he has more faith in Birchall than Moore and he knows the players much better than you.

The good run of results we had around Xmas was as much down the good fortune (in terms of red cards, penalty decisions, opposition missing key players etc) as down to any good play for us. I said at the time we would not make the play-offs, I actually this we will do well to stay up with this manager and team.

 

Complete clear out needed in the summer.

I think Page should be given a chance to mould his own team but player wise we need a big clear out. Theres only a handful I'd keep.

Please please Mr Smurf,pretty please.Can we have something done to sort out this shocking defence.The amount of clean sheet's we keep is shocking.The defence IS COSTING the club vital point's.Forget about bringing in another striker or two (whatever it maybe)Please get the defence sorted.The defence has been poor for a while,even when Adams was here.Adams & Page are both basically defenders.So why is the defence so poor?Is it the whole defence itself that is clueless or is it Page and Adams (when he was here).Whatever it is its more important to sort out the defending issue.

it appears page knows that he'll be gone at seasons end that's why he doesn't give a **** whether we win lose or draw, he must know himself that the team is crap and we are relegation fodder along with half a dozen others and he doesn't have the nouse to put things right,background noise doesn't help but we are ****, nothing we can do about that just smile through clenched teeth and take it.:(:(

Some proper ****ing 1st team coaches would be a start. Having them 2 clowns in his ear each game is a recipe for disaster, and if Page needs their input to make decisions then he's really not up to the job.
