Thank the lord you can see it as well.

We needed instant results and Page delivered.

We aren't good enough for the playoffs so imo we need to give Page time to sort out the squad and push on next season.

Everyone predicted the apocalypse when went 2-0 down away as a result of a gk error and a deflection.

People need to chill and stop expecting instant barca.

edit: off the line twice and a possible penalty.

Its not just about todays game / result though. The football in general, more so the defending has been poor for a while.

The squad, and Page, aren't that bad.

The defence is, and has been for a long time (and we're talking years, rather than weeks or months). It needs sorting in the Summer, especially with many out-of-contract. We're already lumbered with 3 of the current poor defence for next season (Duffy, Dickinson, McGivern), so those that can be released must be replaced with better.

Who gives a f*** about playing well, after 6 straight defeats and in the relegation zone, points were what was needed and that's exactly what Rob Page has done.

Playing well becomes a little more important when you start struggling and we have been struggling for weeks now. Six points off the bottom 4 and not putting together convincing performances and no longer picking up many points is a worry.

In that situation getting points is more important than playing well, it's the bottom line.

Page will soon be loosing the Vale fan vote if he carries on with this mentality he has. Go for safety first and if that means loosing 1-0 so be it. Bring on the fringe players and give them a chance. He just brings on his favourite players now.

MK Don's are on a different level to us to be fair.

It's not just MK though, is it? More teams have beaten Crewe than any other club other than Yeovil and they have conceded more goals than anyone else in L1. Yet they manage to do the double over us for the first time in our history, and we could only manage one goal against them in two games. Pretty dreadful, really.
