Cap the number of foreign players in the premiership. To many players like Suarez getting better! We need a world class forward produced.. This won't happen while the premiership carries on the way it is.

We weren't playing against Andy Carroll were we. We need one big man paired with a someone with a football brain and pace at this level. Cahill was appalling and Gerrard was worse. Where the **** was Sturridge playing , we had no central striker. The only players not to damage their reputations were Johnson and Wellbeck, read into that what you will.

I suppose we got the ***** we expected - angry but not surprised.

Extremely poor performance. Sterling, Sturridge, Welbeck are lightweight. Lambert a decent journeyman, but no international player. Rooney and Gerrard have had their chance and their day.

At least Carroll should have been in the squad. If Hodgson is going to bring on someone who can head the ball and be physical as plan B then surely he has to take Carroll not Lambert.

We are not going to beat these teams with the tactics we are using , the players aren't good enough . The only way is to play the old English way , two wingers getting in crosses to a big rough centre forward.
