I'd be a little concerned that Rangers have deemed him surplus to a Scottish League One campaign? Admittedly, we didn't see enough of him during his loan spell due to injury and lack of minutes, but from what I did see, I didn't see anything to suggest that he could light up League 1 in England.

 

Jay O shea is a good player, but surely he will be offered another contract by Chesterfield after a good season in a promotion campaign? We know with what they paid Rico that they will have a decent budget this year.

Whoever our Manager is next season will have to recruit a fair few players based upon where we are now. We have already lost 5 players (Jones, Shuker, Griffith, Taylor & Chilvers) with the potential of Mohammed leaving by the rumours coming out making six in total. Loft looks likely to leave and possibly of the rest offered deals, at least a couple will probably not re-sign which means 9 down on last season's numbers. Knott might sign but clearly if we are to at least maintain this season's squad numbers, we will need a lot more than people on this thread are suggesting.

Also see that Jamie Turley has refused his offer at Forest Green too,rated as one of the best defenders outside the football league,he has been watched by a lot of scouts but not sure if he is a full back or CB

 

We need both pal so it doesn't matter!!!
