Hart for Shorrock and Byers for Garrity (assuming he’s gonna be out injured for the season)

I’d rather Shorrock to play, not that I think he is any better but more for the fact that Moore has the intent on attacking Grimsby.

I would make couple of changes to throw Artell a surprise and see if we can get an early goal before they make a tactical adjustment.

Amos

Deb,Smudge,Hall

Clarke, Byers, Walters, Hart

                Rico

           Tolaj Curtis

I'd go

    Amos

Clark Debrah Headley

     Byers Croasdale

Chislett R Richards Curtis

     Tolaj Stockley

If Headleys ready I'd stick him in .

Not happy with defence , to me they were already on there hols well go on them then .

Midfield seriously lacking first half, not Walters , though he was good and at least went past players, but I'd bring him on for Croasdale Mon when Ryan's affected the game as much as he can .

Not a time for kids, pace from everywhere,Headley and Clark will get on there bikes and the crowd will feed off there imperious energy , and get at the Mariners who beat  us easily at there place due to Vales goalie having a strop and some very poor defending again which in fairness isn't happened a lot lately but 3 goals conceded v 2nd bottom I ain't choosing all 3 of them if I don't have too and I ain't

I expect a deluge of tickets sold in next 48 hrs

1,500 Grimsby fans.

Ticket sales have been very odd in the Hamil. Thursday morning looked loads left. Yesterday after the game, 3 blocks the Lorne St side of the Hamil were sold out.  Wonder if the club have given out a load of free tickets. Looking at availability the rest of the ground, looks like a normal game. Hamil only has about 500 tickets left.

Just can't get confident for this game. Mainly because Grimsby are impossible to predict. Horrendous GD, lost 17, but won almost as many as us. They don't go on long runs, they win, lose, win, lose, draw, win, win, lose, lose. Haven't got a clue what to expect. It's just that odious manager that bothers me. Absolute <ovf censored> of a man.

I'm desperate see us win a title. Never get a better chance, so it's hard to feel like we're not throwing it away again. Win Monday, we've one foot in L1. Then I feel more confident v Wimbledon and Gillingham. This is going to be the longest weekend ever.

Exactly how I am feeling, 62 years of supporting them and never seen a title.

Yesterday in the main was poor for the first hour, 2 really poor teams and we gave them too much time and space.

The defending from both sides was Sunday League and our midfield had a poor day.

It’s still in our own hands but the manager and players have to get it right on Monday.

Come on Vale !

I think it was a tad unfortunate to be playing carlisle after they had won back to back games for the first time in two years plus a ticket offer to pack the park. Bromley probably felt the same way last week.

Byers misses there'd of been hell up as Tolaj was 100%.

Stating the obvious, he slots it In the other corner it's a wonderful penalty. In reality if the keeper guesses correct he has a chance,  see Amos v Bradford and Amos v Walsall.

Tolaj had to take it. Maybe hindsight just blast it down the middle instead.

The defence and zero midfield for a long part of the game was what cost us.

I agree fully with this. Tolaj must take the penalty and had the keeper gone the other way then it would have been a 'great' penalty. It always makes me laugh when soccer pundits say what a great penalty when all that's happened is the keeper chose to dive the other way.

Yesterday I thought Tolaj should have put it straight down the middle, guessing that the keeper would dive either to his left or right but I'm never going to chastise him for a keeper saving it, at least he got it on target (Harry McKirdy !) and made the keeper make the save.

The points were already gone long since.

We've had that a few times this season. Swindon couldn't buy a win earlier in the season, play us off the back of a run of wins. Tranmere hopeless, play us after sacking their manager, go on a good run afterwards. Carlisle doomed, play us after back to back wins. Completely different team to the one Doncaster beat a few weeks ago.

I don't care how, please just beat that vile manager. No doubt he will talk his usual claptrap.

Also Harvey Rodgers(ex Accie cheat) deserved come uppance

Maybe Lewis Cass can pop one in his own net?!

Shorrock had a shocker yesterday but at home for me he has to play over Hart, I would be looking at Hart for Wimbledon, Shorrock going forward offers more than Hart and a midfield 3 of Walters, Croasdale and Walters at home is possibly too negative, I would be looking at one of Chissy, Rico or Curtis to support the front 2.

Rubbish. We were crap most of the match.😁

10 thousand 463 (1500Grimsby sold).

Very good that

Grimsbys away form is odd too, fourth in the away table but lost as many as Gills who are 18th in the form table and more than Bromley.

All or nothing very few draws!
