If all of those around us lose, and we win, are we up with Donny and Bradford playing each other?

I think we need DD on the case - to three decimal places 💜💜💜

Vale win plus

Bradford and Doncaster lose

Wimbledon fail to win.

In that scenario only Walsall plus the winner of Bradford v Doncaster could catch us or if a draw only Doncaster could catch us thus can’t finish below 3rd.

To go up on Monday we need us to win. Donny and Bradford to lose and Wimbledon to lose or draw.

Walsall are the early kick off, so let's hope it gives us a boost again. If they lose/draw and we win, it should mean we're promoted. Even if it's not Monday, I don't mind waiting!

On Monday if both Donny and Bradford lose and Wimbledon don’t win then yes, we’re up.

this isn’t going to be an easy game and they completely outplayed us away and even though they lost on Friday Artell is no mug at all and they will be very prepared

They lost 0-4 at home yesterday. Have we all forgotten that....??

Also only ONE team in the top 11 teams won yesterday

I think we need a big push now on ticket updates for Grimsby on Monday. The PR around the Bromley game was spot on and definitely helped get a few more down to the game.

I saw the club mention we’re nearly at 10,000 sold, including around 1,700 from Grimsby, so it would be great to aim for 11,000 or so.

Appreciate tickets aren’t a tenner this time, but another 10,000+ Vale fans in the ground would be fantastic.

I' tell you what we're still fighting and I tell you now - I'd love it , love it if we beat them on Mon 😁

it's orate Im morphing into kev Keegan dunner panic

Come on Lads show us how badly you want it 👍

and a cheeky request can we get £10 match tickets for the Gillingham game   👍

Carlisle have lost 23 and conceded 65
Port Vale have lost 9 all season

I don’t think it’s oversimplifying to say when the front line press any defence in this league, they make unforced errors or lump the ball forward quite often. That’s us included. That should be the default position, especially at home, from the beginning to get on the front foot and start in the right mindset. Yesterday the whole 22 started very slowly and tentatively and the ground was virtually silent; then they took the initiative and started to pass it around, helped by the fact we didn’t press at all.

Let’s reset and learn from yesterday.

. It’s cringeworthy to watch Smith and Debrah stand still with the ball at the their feet, do a little shimmy then launch the ball forward 100 yards into the general radius of Stockley.

. Without a dynamic Garrity linking the play, we have nothing in midfield whatsoever in terms of pass-and-move up the pitch. Everything is dependant on wingbacks when Ben isn’t scrapping for the ball.

. As we already know from stats, no Garrity usually means no winny, so if he isn’t 100% fit he needs dropping in alongside Croasdale and have someone else in that advanced role.

. No Sang, John or Headley means we are really limited as an attacking force working out from the back. Get the ball wide or in to the midfield straight away, rather than knocking it along the back.

. Why wait until 60/70 mins to change something that hasn’t been working since minute 10? Get Curtis on early or preferably from the start. He’s a goal scorer and good at pressing.

Stick Croasdale in the advance role , He's good at finding space and can chip in with the odd goal for me he's a good attacking option, Im sure Headley is back in training so he conner be far off the first team wud be a massive boost have him back
