But, as I predicted ages ago, he didn't keep Cheltenham up...

But he did do a fantastic job there didn't he. Even you, with your hatred,  surely must admit that. From the position they were in, when he took, to take it to the 90th minute of the last match was a real achievement.  And their fans saw a team fighting, a team to be proud of - unlike us.

Not that you will admit that, lol. Haters always hate

I’m keen to move on from talk about Clarke, Flitcroft, the bonfire that was this season. It’s difficult to ignore and today was so poor it’s a terrible advert for next season’s STs. There’s going to have to be some good work in preseason and in the market to get a lot of people interested.

Saying that there were a fair few happy to clap the players after that game in the Railway. Why, I have no idea.

Sounds like DM will be clearing most of them out and then rebuilding a new side around the youngsters here already.
The joy of close season, looking for the retained list and thinking what - why let him go, you kept them and then wondering who will be coming in.

I don't think anybody in their right mind will be saying 'why let him go?' when the retained list is published. Will probably be the first time this season everybody is in full agreement

Cheltenham have been almost as bad as us since we lost to them. They did quite well for a period when he took over. Big loss selling Goodwin during the window, although he's not pulled up trees at Oxford. His two transfer master strokes seems to be Pett and Taylor. Both of whom are now bottom half league one players. Our problem in January was trying to sign the next 4 Arblaster's and not signing anyone who was bottom half league 2 standard.

She stood there laughing 😂 safe to say my little girl is not impressed 🤣

Problem was she stood there cutting up sandwiches for the community, listening to Flickers spin,  and trying to present her way out of trouble by telling us in the cheap seats how wrong we were and were all being naughty!

Just watched Crewe on Sky scrape a draw at relegation threatened Colchester with a last minute goal courtesy of fighting till the last minute. I tell you, either of these two would have given today's Vale team a run for their money and I'm just hoping that nothing like our team today turns up for the start of next season or its another disaster in the making. Get it sorted, Vale!

One nice piece of news though - Hanley Town finish their season with a 3-0 win and our very own Doddsy - in his very last game - scores the third. Even at 37, he might have done us a favour today after the dross we put out. Well done, Louis, fond memories!
